Well it looks cheap compared to the price but my therapist recommended so and it has great reviews. I think it will help me.

This is a plastic piece of junk. It will do something, but there are better much cheaper alternatives. Also consider they are charging $45 for 4 replacement pads (which you will need weekly).

I have Trismus. My mouth opening was at 10 mm, normal being 50 mm. I have been using tongue depressors stacked between my teeth and going for therapy to have the jaw muscles messaged and loosened. The main one in my opinion is the pterygoid. (teragoid) I was concerned about the pressure the boards put on my teeth; they seemed to be loosening. I bought the TheraBite because it said the pressure is distributed across all the teeth. It also said it is anatomically correct and I did not know what that meant until I watched the video that came with the devise. When the mouth opens, only the bottom of the jaw moves. The TheraBite only makes the bottom of the jaw move whereas the boards put more pressure on my top teeth than on the bottom. I am now at 18 mm opening using the boards for about eight weeks. I have had the TheraBite two days now and am using it throughout the day. My husband said he can tell a difference in my speech already. I am very happy with its performance so far but I will come back and give an update on my progress in a month or two. Mine would not open when I first got it out but the white knob needed to be turned. I had trouble getting the pin out to adjust the arm but I guess it has to be tight to stay in place. I could not get the pin back in but my son had no trouble

After my wife broke her jaw this really helped her get range of motion back. It's kinda pricey for what it is but it works like a charm!

Way way over priced JUNK!!

It did the job of getting range of motion back after a broken jaw. It's very pricey and all plastic. I doubt there's $10 worth of plastic in it but it did do the job. Functionality A+ Value for materials in it D-

My husband had reconstructive surgery for buckle cancer. We hesitated because of the cost after so many medical bills. However, was a significant difference in his jaw opening and muscles on both sides of his face.
