A very nice and bright set of strings. Stands true to what the company says. Very eco-friendly packaging but also with the consideration to the safety and quality of the strings. It'll easily last a whole month but after that you'll slowly start to notice the strings getting dull in tone. As fas as the concern of corrosion, it did not corrode and I play 3-5 hours a day so you can trust these strings. As for the beginners these might not be the proper string gauges you wanna use when starting out. The top light heavy bottom makes it even more difficult if you're a beginner. I used 9 or 10 gauge strings when I was still learning the basics.

sound is good but it's "e string" is weakother strings are hard to press which makes practice toughfor projectile tone only

Sounds like expected...really bright tone...high e may break if you put very unnaturally high pressure on the strings
