This is very similar to the ikich toaster. are they made by the same company?

Same experience here. Ikich broke, ordered this one and it looks eerily similar to that. Ikich lasted 7 months, this one broke in 2 months and I am out of return period now. Does anyone have their customer service number?

Could you toast 4 waffles at once?

You can toast up to 4 of them perfectly

Listing says it has a bagel setting but I only see reheat and defrost. Does it have a setting to toast only the inside?

The reviews are combined for 2 different products, so it's confusing. The 3100 doesn't have the one-side-only bagel function, the 3400 does. Hope this helps

Where is the cord on this toaster?

The cord is attached to the underside towards the back side. When looking at the picture here, it is directly across from the control knob on the other side of the depression lever. Unit has pegs to raise it off counter so cord can come out from under toaster anywhere needed.
