The storage case is fine. Fits my insulin pens and Embecta (BD) Nano 2nd Gen pen needles 4mm size. The case is hard plastic and seems durable and protective. I store alcohol prep pads in the inside of lid; I can fit four of them. I only buy Embecta (BD) brand alcohol prep pads or Dynarex brand both are considered a little larger pad than most others. They fit snugly and I can close the lid! The included sharps containers work really well to discard your insulin pen needles safely after use. Just remember not to put the protective clear pen needle cap back on your used pen needle, throw it away! Use the opening of the sharps container to safely twist off the pen needle! I really like the sharps container design; it is nice, compact and convenient. You can easily carry it with you! Sharps container will work with other major brands such as Droplet and UltiCare. I'm very satisfied with my purchase! I highly recommend it!

Fits either Lantus SoloStar or NovoLog Flexpen prefilled 100 unit pens *one only, and 3 associated needles. As I learned on another review before buying this one, you can tuck in a few sealed individual alcohol pads atop the pen and needles, too, and it will still shut - just don't try to bring more than 3. Works great for bringing insulin administration supplies away from home. I have not had success in using the "used needles" biohazard containers included. No needle cutter, and too small an opening for the complete unit style of needles I am using.

This is a well-designed portable insulin case that can easily hold a day's supply of insulin. It has enough space for a spare insulin cartridge and three insulin needles, which is more than most people typically use daily. If you are using one dose of insulin daily, this case would also be ideal for overnight travel. The included disposal cases are also convenient for travel purposes. The case is sturdy enough to protect the insulin injector from common travel-related issues. The product description and photos are accurate, and it arrived in three days without any problems. I would definitely get this again.
