I was afraid this would scare my dog. However, it doesn’t and it’s been a BIG game changer during our more challenging training sessions.My dog responds well to my direction most of the time except when UPS or the mail carrier comes to the door and then all bets are off. He’s barking, growling, and digging at the glass door or window (44lb dachsador).The first time I used this, I gave the stop/calm command verbally first, then did a quick bump on the silent sound. He IMMEDIATELY responded by looking for where the sound came from (about 2 seconds), then remembered he was in the middle of red-zone barking. I gave it another bump and he again immediately came to investigate, done with barking (and the mail carrier had moved on).After a couple days of consistently using the verbal command first, then when no response, giving this device a bump, my boy now responds MUCH more quickly to my verbal direction alone. Right now he still requires a bump when all-consumed with the behavior, but I suspect we can eventually move away from this device entirely. This gives him pause enough now where I can get my body between him and the door to block this behavior and back him off.I’ve taken it to the dog park and noticed that none of the other dogs seem to notice it at all, but my boy will immediately turn and come straight to me. I’m assuming it’s because the others did not get a redirect command from their owners along with the sound.We’ve now started using it during off-lead training in the fields/pastures where I’ll let him run quite a distance from me. When he gets too far, I give the command to come back and when he doesn’t respond, I give the device a bump and he immediately comes back, even when he’s chasing rabbits. After about three sessions of this, I’ve noticed that he runs much closer to me without the commands.I can’t hear it at all. I’ve not seen a response difference using the button with the flashing lights/long beep. The device came charged and holds a charge for a long time. I’ve had it for a couple of weeks and have only charged it once, using it daily. It’s super easy to use and definitely worth the money.And for neighborhood dogs: I have stood across the street from my neighbors’ Pyrenees and border collies who constantly bark their heads off (because they never get to leave the small yard) and they don’t seem to respond to the device. Similar to the dogs at the dog park, I’m assuming it’s because they’ve not associated it with a respectful command.I highly recommend using this as a tool to enhance your current training sessions. I don’t know that it would be helpful if you’re not already working with your dog regularly.

Don't waste your money. The product simply doesn't work as advertised. My dog reacted the first time I used it, but after that, there was no response. No matter which of the three buttons I pressed. I tested each one multiple times and got zero reaction. Extremely disappointed with the performance. Save your money and look elsewhere.

It’s ok. Checks my dog. You can tell he’s like, the minute I get my hands on that I’m gonna shove it in your poop chute, but he listens. Flash the brights will sounding rhe high frequency works the best.

This product is amazing. My small 9lb rescue dog was very reactive when walking. I have used this product by pressing the middle button and saying “no” and she stops pulling. This has also worked when she barks when a new person enters the house. Again, I press the middle button while saying “No” and she has stopped. I take this with me on every walk and after a few times of using it, I only have to show her this and she stops. That said, I hold the no bark product and show it to her and she no longer continues to bark or pull reactively. I highly recommend this.
