Good quality
I bought this for my artist son-in-law for Christmas. It’s really good paper. He has some amazing artwork on it. The pic I put up is of one he’s done in pastels on the black paper

Expensive
I use Clairefontaine Pastelmat but wasn’t 100% happy as there were quality issues (indentations which showed through the artwork) and this was suggested but as it was new it is also expensive. There was mention that it was more of a sandpaper feel than Pastelmat but I thought this was much smoother. The pastels went on smoothly and layered and blended better. I doodled a flower and used 17 colours which layered beautifully. I was so impressed I ordered another pack. The cool tones was darker than I envisaged but I can work with that and have also ordered the white pad. It’s 460g so also doesn’t curl. Hopefully the price will lower when it is more readily available.
