Fast connection, easy to use and plug & play on aftermarket android screen.
Great product, I bought it as an alternative to the factory Android Auto on my aftermarket android screen on Audi A5 Sportback 2019 (as it had no AA or touchscreen on the OEM 7 inches screen), the screen wireless AA was absolutely laggy, could'nt listen to music and use Waze at the same time, this device got rid of the issue completely, no more lag on wireless AA, and works as an alternative to the screen original AA. I would recommend it eyes closed.

Solved my CarPlay Issues
I was having ongoing issues with my 2017 Genesis G80 disconnecting CarPlay on various iPhones while plugged in with many different cables, including Apple. I bought this hoping the wireless connection would work. It has worked perfectly. It connects quickly, there is no delay while operating, and is small and compact. Highly recommended!

Unreliable Product and Horrible Customer Service – Do Not Buy!
I was really excited to try the Carlinkit 5.0 Wireless CarPlay/Android Auto Adapter, but unfortunately, my experience has been extremely disappointing. The main issue is constant connection problems. It never stays connected for long, and when I tried to reset the device, it simply wouldn’t go into the reset menu, making it completely useless.Customer service has been a nightmare as well. I reached out multiple times for help, but they were completely unhelpful and didn't provide any solutions. It’s incredibly frustrating to deal with a product that doesn’t work as advertised, and even worse when customer support is completely unresponsive. I would not recommend this product to anyone – save your time and money.

About as good as you can expect
Upgraded from an older adapter, different brand. This one is more stable and connects easier and doesn’t freeze up like my old one did. It is prone to interference while driving. Always happens in the same geographic locations so something is up. I have adjusted the frequency of use and it’s better but not infallible. Works pretty good especially if found on a good deal.

Better than expected
Once installed and connected to my car and phone, it has only not connected once. If it works for you, don’t update the firmware. As with any aftermarket wireless CarPlay or Android Auto device, there is a slight delay (half a second) but still tolerable.

Works only some of the time
With a Porsche 718 and an iPhone 13 I found the connection to be unreliable. When it works, it works fairly well. but half the time it has trouble with the connection, and the apple play controls are unresponsive and the audio contains static. I have tried playing with the settings such as other wifi channels, audio delay, etc... and nothings helps. I hope they release a better version.
