HELLA D1S 4300 K Xenon Standard Bulb, (85V, 35W)

Put it in my 09S550 and it works so far (6months)

Complete disappointment in Hella. Either these bulbs are fake or Hella is seriously lacking on quality. One of the bulbs sent lasted 1 year and 2 months. Now the the bulb is dim, purple in color, and 25% as bright.*update* after purchasing some more Hella bulbs from summit racing, I have found these to indeed be fakes. Please stay away if you don't wish to waste your money. Fake bulb is on the right.

Work like a champ on my trusty MB C320CDI W204, slightly whiter than the OEM made by Osram. Install took the better part of 5 minutes, and this includes swiping some alcohol on a microfiber cloth on the glass bulb to ensure no oils or fingerprints were on it. Lets hope they last as long as Osram that have been on the car for the last 15 years and still worked very well.

Just bought one. 4300k Same color as stock. Can’t tell any difference between headlights. No need for oem.

Have not installed yet hopefully will work the boxes the bulbs were in was crushed an open exposing bulbs to the glass part of the bulb.

I just installed a pair of these in my Mini Countryman and discovered in the process that these are actually D2S bulbs with a D1S adapter ignitor. They work fine but be aware that the ignitor will separate from the actual bulb. In my case, it made the install easier, but I wasn't expecting them to separate. I will be emailing Hella support to find out if they actually make their bulbs this way or if these are fakes.
