My go to. Makes my hair soft & smells great!

I love the function of beauty shampoos. The scent on this is peach but to me it just smells faintly fruity, not distinctly of peaches. The formula is good, it is not the most foamy of soaps and it does not lather much. The lather doesn't change how it cleans, but I prefer more bubbles in my shampoo. The shampoo leaves my hair feeling soft and moisturized without being too dry or stripped feeling. The straight hair version has coconut water in it to help rehydrate, which my hair always needs more of. It is a really nice shampoo.

so happy I found this product along with its entire line and the booster shots. With myself and two girls in the house, we all have different needs with our hair and this is affordable, and the benefits of this product are amazing. I can tailor my hair to whatever it needs, whether it’s shine, frizz, curl definition, or to strengthen there is something for every hair type and I’ve been using this product for the last nine months, and my hair has not been healthier.

I love the smell, and the packaging. Sometimes it feels like a little heavy on my hair but my hair is wavy and not curly so maybe that’s why. I use it once a week and my hair does feel soft.

Ooh, this does a nice job moisturizing my hair. Provides cleanliness and some nice suds. Has a fruity scent to it. Small size but I think its nice. And considering the clean it gives, I will have to try out the whole setup with boosters to see what this brand does at its max potential

On its own, the Straight shampoo from Function of Beauty is a good, everyday shampoo if you’ve got straight hair, as it does a good job making your hair feel lightweight and bouncier. I did think the moisturizing benefits, however, was lacking. I’m not familiar with the brand, so I discovered after ordering it that you can add up to three “Hair Goal Boosters” to customize the shampoo for additional haircare benefits, like anti-frizz and volumizing. I haven’t tried it yet, but I found this to be pretty unique and haven’t really seen aside from going to beauty supply stores and seeing stylists customizing their own shampoos and conditioners.It’s got a nice, shiny light blue color to it, matching the exterior bottle. And since it states on the front it has coconut water in it, I of course was expecting it to smell like, well, coconut. However, it’s a nice peach/citrus scent, and it might be strong for those sensitive to strong smells.
