I used these for a game and used a pen to write secret codes on them. It worked out great. These were the prefect size.

Card stock that these are made from is pretty thick, however a fine sharpie does really through slightly on all the colors except for the brown you can write on both sides of it’s not too disruptive, however, and an extra fine sharpie is no problem
