Wow 🤩 this was so masterfully done!Two Twisted Crowns was such a great ending to marvelous duology.I have been raving about One Dark Window and Two Twisted Crowns since I started the first one. It is such a hauntingly, beautifully woven tale.The use of Providence Cards as a magic system and the degeneration that comes with using magic was just so cleverly done. I love how no two degenerations were the same and that they could be physical or mental.I like that you got to see a bit of a softer side of The Nightmare in Two Twisted Crowns, you can see that he does care for Elspeth and her well being.I also enjoyed getting to know Elm and Ioni better. This book made me love the story even more than I did after reading One Dark Window.I was not disappointed with the ending, I am just sad it's over.My one complaint would be with Hoth, I think he deserved worse!

Fantastic duology which was very easy yo follow. Bought for me by my son and I was slightly dubious as it's a fantasy but I was quickly hooked and could not put them down. I was disappointed when I'd finished them!

It's not often the second book is on par with the first but Rachel Gillig has done it.Book one is fantastic for world building & for me personally I loved the Nightmare; the wit, the sass, the menace that he is.Book two branches (😉) off into two stories and I was equally invested in both. I actually loved that the romance wasn't front and centre of this story, I enjoyed the entire adventure, mystery, schemes & unique magic system.This is hands down one of my favourite reads this year, I'm in awe at how great these are.I laughed, sat on the literal edge of my seat & cried like a baby to these books; this is a story that will stay with you for a while.I already know I'll reread & Rachel Gillig will be an auto buy author for me

Cheaper to buy the bundle so I did as I knew I'd enjoy the duology. Come well packaged in plastic but they also come wrapped tightly so it dented and slightly damaged both books.

Arrived early. As advertised. They are a gift for someone so haven't read them myself.

Great books! I really enjoyed it :)

Small, hard to read font and very thin paper. Returned as I didn't like how difficult the font was to read. Print quality was also poor as some pages looked blurred or smudged.
