I used this racquet 5 times max. It was sent to me 6 weeks ago. You can see that everything is in good shape except for the plastic part holding the top of the racquet together. It does not hold up in the heat and I’m in Southern CA. I reached out to Prokennex Pickleball to share with them what happened and their response was you have to pay for shipping to return it and we will decide if it’s under warranty. This racquet clearly was not abused, just does not hold up in 90 plus degree temperatures and caused the plastic part to pull away from the racquet. In addition the racquet is ultra thin. I’ll stick with my Engage Pickleball Racquet I have had for 2 years now.So much for their 1 year warranty. If you see any signs of pulling apart make sure you return within the 30 days!

Love this paddle but now I cat use it in tournaments. You can dad about why on the US Pickleball website. I still use it for recreation when I’m not in a tournament. It gives me more power when trying to return a lob.

This is my third PROKENNEX pickle ball paddle I've purchased in the last three years. My previous paddles have served me well and I've had no 'tennis elbow' issues which is why I buy PROKENNEX paddles. This is their top end model and buying it used brought it back into my budget range. This paddle, as advertised, gives me more power on my serves, ground strokes and slams without sacrificing any control. Because these paddles aren't as thick as the other brands, I feel that they give me a speed advantage when the action gets fast and furious at the net. And finally, it looks cool. What's not to like?

Love this paddle! I've been playing for about a year now, and with my tennis background, the transition was really easy. I knew nothing about paddles when I started playing, so I blindly tried paddles from Vulcan, Electrum, PaddleTek and GearBox before I landed with the ProKennex Black Ace Ovation. This paddle is perfect for me, as it provides power a the baseline (regardless of what the other reviews say), great feel at the net, and does not jar my arm at all when hitting. I love the beads inside the paddle - they really absorb the shock when I'm hitting. I do feel like the sweet spot is a little smaller, but with the addition of lead tape on the sides, I feel like the sweet spot is larger and fully acceptable. And I LOVE that this paddle is a bit louder than the others when striking the ball. I feel like it's a little intimidating to other players, which is a plus. I would recommend this paddle for intermediate thru pro players.

I have played with the ProKennex brand paddle for three years now and had the Flight/Ovation model. I just received my new Black Ace Ovation and I can’t be happier with the feel and power this new paddle has. I have never had arm pain of any kind since switching to this brand three years ago. I will not use another paddle!
