Very strong for this style of leg bracket.
You have to have realistic expectations for this style of leg mounting - no matter what brand you buy. These arent' for a workbench or the dining room table at Buckingham Palace. When you attach a table leg to a 2-3" square attachment point like this, it's impossible for it to be super tough. That said, I bought two different brands/styles of these type of brackets so i could compare them IRL. These ones were a heavier gauge steel, and were just a tighter fit and finish, and the locking latch mechanism was easier to use (although as others stated, it doesn't lock them up when folded especially tightly - only locks them when extended). And the screws aren't that great, but worked fine for me even into hardwood if predrilled. Or just use better screws.

Work for soccer bounce back
I built my daughter a custom wooden bounce back and I used the for the legs so its foldable and storable. These have worked well and held up well. I keep the bounce back in the front yard and these have been rained on and, in the elements, the seem to be holding up well and no rust.

These were good but not as strong as I had thought
I thought I recall reading these will hold 500# so imagine my surprise when I installed one of them on a small 17" table and it wouldn't hold it up. So I installed another and still it sagged a little. Then I noticed the first one had bent a little during my testing phase so I replaced that one with a new one (good thing 4 come in a package). But both of them together still did not satisfy my objective to add extra counter space with a 15" x 17" table top in my RV so I added a single leg using a wooden paint pole with a twisting connection and as a mount I used a drywall sander. I removed the 2 bolts, replaced them with screws and added a rubber leg cap to the bottom. Now I have a very sturdy table that folds against the wall when not in use. I unscrew the leg and put it in the closet.

Didn't know what I was doing, but they worked!
I wanted to repurpose an old desk top into a craft table and liked the idea of being able to fold it up. These leg hinges worked as advertised, but I am not an expert at folding table engineering. I want to share my experience with others who are not experts. It didn't take me long to realize that the legs needed to be stablized, so I used some scrap wood to stabilize the legs. I did it in a way that two legs will fold at the same time. The table needed more stability and after some pondering and trial and error, I came up with a crosswise stabilizer that is removable. The removable crosswise stablizer was the key to a successful project. If I ever do another folding table project, I will work in the need to stablize the table from the beginning. BTW, the hinges were a little stiff but a quick squirt of WD40 took care of that.

Great Hinges. Terrible Screws
I bought these because I was making a soccer rebounder for my boys and needed to have something that locks in the open 90* position. They are super sturdy, thick and have very little wobble when open. The screws however are a joke. They are listed as .70” and I was using true 3/4” plywood and they were longer than that. I immediately threw them out and bought new steel screws and set about 6 screws in each hinge. The unit is super strong. Overall worthwhile for the price and would buy again.

Lacking Essential Quantity
The folding brackets are easy to attach; they're excellent for fold-able legs. The drawback is the amount of screws. Four brackets require fifty-two screws. I purchased four sets twice. The first contained 41 screws and the second only had 40. I completed my projects because I had extra screws in my workshop.

Just what I needed
I made a folding bed in my cargo conversion trailer. I made an 9” wall base that is fixed so the 8” mattress will sit in an upright position. The folding hinged section is a great feature when using these bracket. I used three brackets for the legs equally spaced for the 80” bed. I can’t be any more pleased on their functional and sturdy use. I recommend these if you’re planning on needing flip up/down legs.

Very Poor Quality
Poor quality control.Firstly, Very large sprue left within the mechanism making it impossible to close defeating the entire purpose. Since installing and uninstalling original working piece now has holes that make it difficult to get a good grip using the screws that come with it again.** They're not stripped but anyone knows that working with wood you only get a solid first attempt and anything after that is never as tight.Secondly, many of the holes they advertise are right behind a part of the mechanisms making them completely useless for installation.Lastly, they advertise locking in both positions but the "folded" position of the locking mechanism doesn't work for any installed purpose, the angle it is manufactured at is very acute, using 36" legs doesn't even get close to being able to lock in position so I'm unsure of how this was tested or approved.Very poor quality. Do not buy.
