that was amazing
Definitely a typical fake dating sports romance. But I’m so impressed with how she fleshed out the characters. They had real relatable people problems and their reactions to the problems were realistic. No wanting to punch male or female leads for being stupid. No drama and agro for a shakeup before the end.Loved loved the chemistry and the sex. Light me on fire 🔥. For a couple of college🤯🤯🤯🤯. Impressive/perhaps unlikely and completely enjoyable. Would I reread yes. Although these are the kind of books I never rereadBut this had substance behind the characters.

Sports romance x fake dating. Count me in
Sports Romance x Fake Dating - is even a more perfect combination? Blind Side follows the story of Giana a unique, quirky, shy girl who interns as a public relations coordinatorfor her collage sports team. Enter the extremely confident, hot, superstar football player Clay Johnson who completely flips her world upside down. After agreeing to fake date for their own advantages, Giana and Clay strike a deal resulting in more than they bargained for. This book was truly beautiful. Steiner creates two main characters that as a reader you can’t help but love. The two are completely opposites which only makes their chemistry that much more palpable. The writing throughout the book is simple, easy yet effective. It’s a super flowing, cute read that’ll have you absolutely screaming into your pillow at 3am.Clay Johnson is the definition of a man written by a woman. I mean the guy literally reads Giana’s books so he knows exactly what she wants. His need to take on everyone’s problems as his own only adds to his character depth; Clay is a character that constantly tries to do the best for others around him no matter the cost. He’s truly perfect; with the right balance or pure spice with soft romantic side (you’ll be swooning trust me!)I highly reccomend giving this book a chance if you like spicy, cutesy, fake dating sports romances where you shy girl next door falls for the alpha male, cocky but sweet jock.Favortie Quote:“And yet, if this was it, if this was the only way I could ever have her… I was thankful. I’d take every stolen moment, every fake kiss, every lesson she’d let me teach her. I’d ground myself down to sand and let her leave me behind in the end if it meant I got to soak up everything that she was right now. A fool, that’s what I was. A fool who wouldn’t stop playing the game he knew he’d lose.”

Holy hotness
I loved this fake relationship sports romance by Kandi Steiner. Clay and Giana were the perfect opposites who collided spectacularly. Clay is a hotshot safety and Giana is the formidable and determined PR assistant tasked with taming the team for promotion purposes. Clay has recently had his heart broken and wants to win back his girlfriend. Giana is a shy virgin who wants to attract the attention of a singer she's had a crush on for a year. They agree to help each other, but their plans don't go exactly to, well, plan. This book was super hot. Clay was the perfect combination of dominance and softness, while Giana was adorable - I loved her geek chic and determination. This was a really fun read that kept me up until the early hours. I would definitely recommend!

obsessed
This was my first Kandi Steiner book and man it did not disappoint!Clay is a safety on the Boston University football team, he’s newly single and completely heartbroken after is high school sweetheart broke up with him. Worst of all she’s just started at the same college AND is on the cheerleading team. Giana is interning as a member of the teams PR team. Usually quiet and timid she really comes into her own when she’s telling these big burly players where they need to be. However away from the team she’s only got eyes for the college musician, only problem is she’s never had a relationship before and can never find the confidence to approach him to make him notice her. When one evening during a meeting Clay realise’s this, he proposes a fake relationship where he can get his ex back by making her jealous and in the process he can help Giana catch the attention of her crush. However like in all fake relationships, lines begin to blur… and maybe just maybe this is where they’re meant to be after all.I adored this book. I adored Clay and I adored Giana, and together they just blew me away. I love the fake dating trope, seeing them deny their feelings for each other, but then also seeing them realise that they quite clearly in love with the other. The build up and the tension between the two of them was perfect and the spice was so hot! Clay is the most perfect book boyfriend ever!My heart ached for Clay and his home life, and the sacrifices he made to look after his family, I felt broken for him, I just wanted to give him the biggest hug! I didn’t like Maliyah at all or her dad.I loved watching Giana come into her own, and become this confident woman! I loved this book so much and I now need to go read Fair Catch because I adored Riley and Zeke in this story and need to see how they ended up together!

Faking it
I've seen so many reviews on social media about this book, that I finally got around to reading it. It was interesting to read, the depths giana and clay would go to, to get the people they wanted was brilliant to be a part of. It was clear that the lines between them would blur until they couldn't hold back and the people they wanted in the beginning were no longer the end game. Giana was a cute character, I loved how so pushed herself out of her comfort zone and bossed the players around and did it well. Clay was brilliant in his scheme to seduce giana with the raunchy romance books she read. Great read.
