Worked Like a Charm
This problem is an obvious issue with all GM vehicles as I had 2 I needed to fix. My wife’s 2018 GMC Yukon SLT and my 2019 Silverado HD2500 LTZ. Exact same issue where it wouldn’t close and hold. These are perfect fits and installed both in under 15 mins. There are good YouTube videos that show how to access by removing the underside of the lid by prying it off with a narrow screwdriver or the likes.

After you figure out how to install, an easy job.
Seller should have an installation video. After I found one, yes, you need a clue on how to install. There are no screws to undo to access the latch to replace it. Aside from that a nice inexpensive product.
