Tried several of these over the years to connect my DP Laptop to HDMI monitor. It works is stable and definition is HD, budget priced solution.

A good price for a pack of 2. Both work as described. I can now have my TV connected to my PC, as it uses an HDMI cable but I only have space Display Port slots. After a few days of using this setup, I've had no issues occur.

This product seemed great on initial use: the adapter converts at Displayport out to a HDMI out, allowing me to use the Displayport at the back of my PC with the HDMI input on my monitor.However, the adapter stopped working after about an hours use. It became very hot and stopped working. The port on the PC is fine it still carries a signal however not with the adapter.I’ll need to buy a Displayport to hdmi cable instead; a more expensive option but it should work more reliably.

Broke inside my brand new PCs displayport and now I will have to try and find a way to remove it. Barely bought it a month or two ago. Do not buy. Cheap made. Worked before it snapped but should not be breaking this easily!

Another reviewer commented it both sticks out and feels like it will rip the displayport off if you knock it. I agree, I would not want to use this anywhere but behind a desktop computer.
