Great material and light can be taken anywhere all summer long. It is not heavy and very absorbent.

I bought these to use at home instead of traditional towels as I thought they could be better for the planet quicker to dry and smaller to wash. I’ve had Turkish towels before and they haven’t been as soft as these but actually that’s quite a nice thing in a towel as it means they dry more effectively. These towels are really soft, maybe too soft because they don’t dry very effectively. I have washed them at least 10 times now and the fluff is still coming off. Because they are the black and white towels the black fluff does look a bit grim on your skin. I wear contact lenses and I can’t dry my hands in these towels before I put them in because they would get covered in fluff. I think when the fluff subsides (which I hope it will) that will be great but for now they are a bit of a pain. They look beautiful but they are so fluff and not that absorbent. Hopefully over time they will improve.

I wanted to wait and use these for a few weeks before reviewing them to see if I had any issues. I soaked them for 24 hours in the bathtub as per the instructions, before washing and drying as usual. They were soft and absorbent right from the start. The size is both good and not so good. Good because it's nice and large and easy to wrap around my plus sized body. Not so good because I'm 5'2" and the tassels baaaaarely start to hit the floor when I'm drying off and get wet on the shower floor, but my 6' husband doesn't have that trouble at all. They're just a little weird to get used to at first, being so thin, but I like them a lot, would 100% buy again.

I bought 9 of these towels as gifts for a "girls trip" to Hawaii. They had so many colors to pick from. It made it easier to make sure everyone had a color that matched their bathing suit. Also so everyone had a different color to know who's was who's. The ladies loved them. The towels were everything they described in the description. They absorb well, sand shook off easy and the colors were bright and beautiful. All the ladies kept thanking me. The towels made our trips to the beach a better expirence. They washed up great also. The towels became blankets because they were nice enough to use on the plane home...nobody would have guessed they were towels.

I got this to replace a much older one from a different company, and found out that this company is SO MUCH BETTER!!! Worth the price in every way. I didn’t realize there was such a difference between brands, if I knew I would have got this first. Now you know!! Don’t buy the cheaper ones! I missed years of this better one, lol. I followed the tip for soaking first, and right away after the first wash and line dry the towel was thick, soft and luxurious feeling. The color and weaving pattern is also really lovely.

Bought these as a gift for a relative moving into a house on the water. I wanted a quality towel, but lightweight that they could keep in a basket by the door. Purchased 4 of them in different colors. These are perfect!! I am very happy with the feel as I have had other Turkish towels not as soft. Terrific New Home gift.
