Charges old Samsung Cell Phone
This is exactly what I wanted, this is exactly what is does - it charges an old Samsung phone. I am so excited to use this phone again for my son, while he gradually learns the responsibility of using a cell phone. Price is right.I don't know if this works for downloading data, it's not the reason why I bought it so I am not concerned.

It worked!
I had 2 old Samsung phones that i wanted to power up and see if i had any pictures on them. My one Samsung a white/purple flip open with a keyboard powered right up. I was able to transfer super old photos that i had forgotten about. Some of them pictures of my nephew when he was a baby. The second Samsung phone isn't powering on but it must be something with the phone itself, like the battery. I am so glad I was able to get this cord here on Amazon! Best Buy doesn't even carry it anymore.
