Follow the directions. Do not skip steps. Do not cheap out on using the other products before and after applying this or it will not work if you're recoloring. Do the multiple coats on everything you apply and you'll be fine! Use a heat gun between coats to speed up the process, but be careful not to damage the surface - move the blower over the surface so the heat is not concentrated in one spot.If you do not want to spend so much on their brand name finisher, I have found the Matte Mod Podge works just as well. Again, do multiple coats!

This is a pretty small bottle with a pretty small applicator. Maybe not that big of a deal except that it goes on a bit streaky and you need lots of coats to make it consistent. It worked well once I got it applied.

Actually i have lather black shoes and i am using for summer only.It was some screches on shoes and it look white lines on toe.So i ordered this leather paint from amazon and paint on toe.Kept it one day for drying on room temperature.My shoes looks like new white lines on toes disappear and it doesn't seems paint on shoes.

First time I've painted leather shoes. I started with bright white Docs and painted Burgundy with Duller additive as I wanted a matte finish.Took four coats of paint, last coat is still drying in picture. Many reviews mentioned that "a little goes a long way" but I figured better safe than sorry and purchased the 4oz. Four thin coats used less than 1oz.I had serious problems with bubbles appearing as the paint was applied. Each swipe created new bubbles. A light sweep of the brush tip popped them, it was just really time consuming. The paint starts to dry pretty quickly so repeated sweeps of the brush caused some streaks. I didn't see anyone else really mention this so it could be related to the Duller additive but it's probably just a me issue, user error.Overall, great coverage and the color was as expected. I'll update if there's any cracking or peeling once I've worn them a few times.**UPDATE: The GOOD, I've worn them and the paint didn't crack. The BAD, I've barely worn them because the paint made them squeak so so loudly. I believe it's the painted tongue rubbing against the leather backing on the lace eyelets.

Now this is the duke blue i was looking for! The regular blue was so close to color matching however, just a tad to light. Dark blue is the Duke color for the job!

Had a bad mark on the arm of my lazy boy that looked terrible. I thought the recliner was leather, turns out it is fake leather. I tried this paint and it turned out soooo beautiful. Unbelievable. So easy to use too. Just paint it on, let it dry, then rub the finisher on. That's it. It will make an old nasty couch/chair new again.

I bought two bottles ,thinking I would need every bit of them.I did quite a large area (( Backs and seats )) of a good sized love seat .I did no prep work ,I just poured right from the bottle and spread it around with a 1" paint brush .The next day everything was dry and no residue was left .Accually , I was surprised how easy it was to apply .

I love this paint.It goes on easy and last long if done right.Arrive slightly spilled due crack around most of cap. I put plastic to keep it from spilling or drying out.Otherwise good to go.

Compré unos tenis el año pasado de piel, pensé, me durarán mucho y además son de una marca buena, pues resulta que este año se pusieron amarillos de algunos lugares y ya no los usaba por lo mismo.Pensé en llevarlos a un lugar especial para que los pintaran o les hicieran algo para que pudiera usarlos nuevamente.Vi esta pintura aquí en Amazon y pues losPinté, solo una capa en los lugares donde estaba lo amarillo y. Wooow. Están como nuevos.Bastante buena la pintura y su cobertura excelente.

Came enclosed and the paint was in perfect shape. Was not dried out and the lid came with a brush on the inside. Just FYI the paint does dry out with a shine and not matte for anyone that does not know.
