Ho acquistato questo rubinetto da poco e sono fiduciosa che durerà a lungo: è di metallo e la fattura è Kilner, una garanzia. Tuttavia, l’ideale sarebbe dotare il dispenser di questo rubinetto sin dall’inizio. Anni fa ho acquistato il dispenser da 5L su Amazon UK e aveva il rubinetto in plastica che si è rotto dopo qualche tempo: non si chiudeva del tutto e la mattina trovavo il ripiano pieno d’acqua. Questo sembra essere perfetto ma è costato più del dispenser😂per chi fosse tentato di acquistare altri rubinetti, meno cari: personalmente sono stata tentata e probabilmente sarebbero andati bene lo stesso ma quello originale è garanzia di durata e piena compatibilità.

I use this for my Kombucha, so replaced the plastic tap which is what the Kilner Jars come with as default, with this steel tap. And it means I don’t have to worry about any plastic disintegrating. The tap is pretty easy to install and clean and is super sturdy compared to the plastic version. You can also open and close the steel tap fairly easily and just with one hand. I would need to use two hands with the plastic version.

Fitted to a Berkefeld gravity water filter as the plastic tap supplied with it had started to drip.This stainless version improves on the original as it has end-stops for fully on / off.When fully open, flow through the spigot is also faster than the original.Overall, an effective upgrade.NB A 19mm deep socket simplified hand-tightening the back nut.
