Q: Can it work on wainscoting over drywall or is that too thick for the hooks? Do the hooks require a specific thickness of wall?

Traditional drywall is 1/2" thick and that is what the SecureHooks have been designed to work with. If there is wainscoting installed over the drywall, it is not guaranteed that the hooks will anchor enough inside the wall to allow them to lock into place on the mounting bracket, thus not allowing it to secure properly.

Q: Will the adhesive work on wallpaper?

The Qdos Zero-Screw Furniture Anti-Tip Kit will work on wallpaper, just know that you will be using either the secure hooks to put picture hook holes in the wallpaper to anchor it in the drywall, or the included screws to go into a stud. The Adhesive on the mounting plate for the wall is only to help with installation, it is not to hold the product in place - you must still use the secure hooks or screws for the wall. The adhesive only option is for the furniture component - there you can use either just the adhesive or use screws.

The Qdos Zero-Screw Furniture Anti-Tip Kit will work on wallpaper, just know that you will be using either the secure hooks to put picture hook holes in the wallpaper to anchor it in the drywall, or the included screws to go into a stud.
