I need to cover an outside overhead light above the front door. Size is approximately 10” wide x 2” high. Which product should I order?

Will these make the light a little more yellow? i have a white led that is so harsh.

Short answer yes. I only recommend our Subtle warm if you have lights that are very cool in tone. If you put our Subtle warm products on a light that is already neutral or warm in tone then the warming effect will be intensified and probably undesirable. Here are the products in the links below. But the White DIms are actually preferable for your needs in my opinion because they not only dim like the products above but they soften the lights which makes them extremely desirable. But as I said on LOW CRI rated cheap strip lights there can be an undesirable color shift if and only if you apply the WhiteDims directly on top of the LED strip lights LED. If a color shift occurs the only solution is to get some sort of gap between the LED strip light by about 1 or 3 mm then the problem goes away if there was a problem in the first place. Some customers have aplastic cover over the strip to begin with, if you have that there is no risk of a color shift. What works for dimming Halogen or Incandescent?

Incandescent and halogen get extremely hot over 350F. Unfortunately our LIGHTDIMS products are designed and formulated for LED lights and can handle up to 205F. Above 205F LIGHTDIMS get soft and at 350F they will melt. Unless you have a cover over your Halogen or incandescent light which the LIGHTDIM can be applied to and the temp of the cover is less than 205F.
