Lift the front panel up and the filters fit each side of the fan hope this helps

Q: What is height range of chimney

The chimney is in two pieces of about 400mm each but as the extractor is quite tall itself I only used one chimney piece although you can use both as they slide over each other.

Q: Is there an attachment to hold the angled led panel open further as feel it only captures minimal steam from my front plates with the door free hangin

The glass panel is not supposed to hang open during operation. The hinge is only there to allow access to the grease filter. I have my unit quite high at 730mm above the hob and it works fine, the minimum clear height should be 530mm. If your unit is more than 750mm you may have to lower it. Check for cross drafts, if you have a window or door open then it may prevent the extractor sucking up vapour. You should also not create too much visible steam because it is not energy efficient, use a pot lid and turn down the hob - it saves money and prevents steam build up in your kitchen. To check if the fan is extracting: take a tissue, or paper towel, and place it on the grease filter, if it does not fall off the fan is extracting.
