Wow. 3x faster than Kia charger at 120v
Best purchase in a long time! I’m amazed at how great this works. I have a 2024 EV9 and have been using the Kia charger that came with it. This charges 3x faster on just 120V. Literally went from 96 hours on 45% charge to 32 hours. WOW!!!

Well Built & Reliable
I use this for my EV6 and it’s been great. I’ve had it for 6 months and it’s worked flawlessly. I’ve only used it for level 1 charging and it’s been consistent with energy output. I really like that it’s plenty long, but still compact enough to wrap up and throw in the trunk as a back up for longer trips.

Working well with VW ID4 2023
I was surprised when my new ID4 didn't include a level 1 charger. Apparently those aren't included anymore in the 2023 models. I picked this up to help buy me time while I work to get a higher end level 2 charger outlet installed.So far it has been working great. Very easy. Fits the connector snuggly without being too tight. I'm running this on a regular outlet on a 15 amp breaker, so I did set the car to "Reduce AC charging current" in the charging settings. The plug may be slightly warm, but not really noticeable, so no heat issues. Getting about 2-3 miles added per hour of charging, which is what I expected from that outlet. Really happy with this purchase. It has a nice long cord.

Charges well, but is a very tight fit
I bought this charger for our RAV4 Prime, a plug-in hybrid. We wanted a faster charger than the 12 hour one that came with the car. This one has a nice long cable, charges in just over four hours (240v outlet), and has a weatherproof cover. But, it fits very tightly into the charging port on the car, and is equally difficult to pull out after charging. It takes two hands. We hope it loosens up after a while, to make it easier. Other than that little issue, this charger is an affordable alternative to the very expensive Level 2 chargers on the market. Hopefully it will last a while.

Great for roadtripping
This works on my Kia EV6. I plugged it into a regular 5-15 for level one charging and it works charging at 1.8 KW/H. I also used it with a 14-50P to 6-20R adapter, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B081PZCR65?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details, and it works well charging at 3.7 KW/H. I use the 14-50 plug with a 50amp breaker with my ChargePoint Homeflex. My ChargePoint will draw 40amp and charges 2.5 times as fast. This cord will only draw 16amp so it works as designed.I got this charger primarily to keep in the car for road trips. I like the 28 foot length. I figure it will come in handy on the road when I stay with friends and can plug into their outdoor wall socket. I got the 14-50 adapter just in case I stay overnight at an RV or campground where there is a 14-50 plug. Driving on the road, I'm hoping I won't have to use it but I feel much better having it and the different charging options just in case.Another note about this charger is the amperage. The 120 AC outlets in my garage are 20 amp so I have no issues using this charger at my house. On the road when I stay with friends, this may not be the case. I can adjust the AC charge level in my Kia EV6 to minimum and I charge at 1.1 KWH instead of the max of 1.8 KWH. This allows my to plug in at a friends house even if they only have a 15amp outlet.

Improvement Over Factory Charger
Purchased to extend charging distance to driveway for new BMW PHEV. Using on 110V, was surprised to see full charge time decrease from 25 hrs w/ factory BMW provided charging cable down to 16 hrs top on full charge. Also connects w/ BMW charging system immediately, & 100% of time. Factory cable takes longer to start charging & occasionally wouldn’t charge so needed to pull in & out. Also shows max of 16amp charging at the vehicle on 110, factory max output was 11amp max although the cable is thicker & also rated level 2. Only negative, purchased used to save $, 1st shipment came & someone took 110 extension, returned & 2nd unit came correct. May be worth ordering new if you don’t want that potential hassle. Lastly cable is much lighter, thinner the BMW factory

No longer works well for an I3, plug is melting
I have been using this on average about 1-2 times a week for two months now, less than ten charges overall. I have been using this only as a level one charger so far. Unfortunately the charger now is heating up during the charging cycle so much that the wall plug is starting to melt at the point where I plug it in, and there is a burning plastic smell in the garage. This just started, it wasn’t doing that during the first several times that I used it. This is a fire hazard. This item has failed after less than ten uses.Original review:I bought this for a BMW I3. I like that it works as both a level one and level two charger. I use this in level one mode, but if I upgrade to a 220 volt outlet in my garage, I can keep using this without having to buy a new one.It is a bit slow as many level ones are. It took about 15 hours to fully charge my car from about 15% to full. This is ok for me at this time. I also like that this is 28 feet long. I use most of the 28 feet and am happy with this aspect of the charger.Overall this is an economical charger without many frills that works very well and has an extra long cord.

Excellent and reliable plug for 2023 VW ID4
This is incredibly durable and even though gets a bit abused outside because it stays in front yard. It's had zero problems over 6 mos, charges at level 2 consistently at home, and cord length is long enough that we never have to struggle with having to position the car closer. Long enough to get to drive way and then some without it cluttering. Feels well made and heavy duty. We get around 40% charge overnight on this. So with around an average of 30% left every day, we get it up to 70% or more by the morning. Not bad for level 2 home charging. We use this for daily and keep a cheaper, shorter cord in trunk for emergencies.
