Loved this story
I’ve been reading these in light of watching the Netflix series and I wish they had followed this story line for Benedict as it appears that what is to come is way off. A real Cinderella tale with twists and turns. Thoroughly enjoyable and great holiday read for me.

Cinderella nabs a Bridgerton
A great book, full of twists and turns, wit and humour. Julia Quinn has taken the story of Cinderella and really incorporated it into Benedict's story in a fictional, believable way. Highly enjoyable.

Love Benedict's Story
I read the first two Bridgerton books a few years book and really enjoyed them. In preperation for the new season, I decided that I needed to continue. And even though the TV show is skipping a book, I certainly did not. I’m an in order kind of person… and I am so glad that I picked up An Offer From A Gentleman. Benedict has always been my favourite Bridgerton in the TV show and I love him all the more in this book. I am so genuinely sad that the show has skipped this one as I absolutely adored every moment of this book. One thing I loved was this one is the inspiration from the Cinderella tale. This is a definite Cinderella story and I absolutely loved it. I really loved the concept of Benedict falling for a servant. I felt like it was really refreshing and new compared to the previous two books where Daphne and Anthony fell for people who were already in their social standing. I really loved this aspect of An Offer From A Gentleman.I really enjoy how humourous these books are. With them being historical romances you still definitely see a bit of inequality and misogyny that comes with the time period, but the way Julie writes is makes you not get angry at these elements and just kind of accept them for what they are. I love the banter between the characters as it just makes this series such a fun read. I loved seeing Benedict’s relationships with his brothers in this one, their chats made me laugh out loud many times. These are not the best literary books you’ll ever read, but they’re super fun and enjoyable. An Offer From A Gentleman was a fantastic third instalment of the Bridgerton series. I thoroughly enjoyed every moment and I will be diving straight into the fourth book. I can’t wait to see what happens between Colin and Penelope. I’ve been dying for this since the start of the series, both television adaptation and books. I can’t wait to see what happens next. If you’re a fan of historical romance and haven’t picked this series up yet, I highly recommend that you do.

Not My favourite but still a compelling read.
i rate this as 3.75 as it is just shy of the four stars that I rated the first two Bridgertons books. This was another great addition to the Bridgertons series. Though admittedly, it is my least favourite of the books so far, I took a while to get into this one and did get frustrated with Benedict several times. In all honesty I struggled so much that if I were not reading the series, I may have given up. Happily I stuck with it and ultimately I did enjoy the story and can still happily recommend it. I did not like the start because of its obvious link to a classic story. It may have been a homage, but I didn't pick up the classic. I wanted a fresh story from start to finish. I will say that very quickly the story does become individual and is well written.I cannot seem to stop reading the series and have to say that I am more than a little obsessed with learning more about the Bridgerton family. I still adore Dowager Viscountess Violet Bridgerton and she remains one of my favourite characters. She is so dedicated to her children and their happiness. Sophie has a wonderful inner strength and seems to face anything that life throws at her head on. She is brave and good. At some points I far preferred her to Benedict. Ah Benedict. He is both, wonderful and frustrating. I do like how individual he is in comparison to His Sister and Brother whose books precede this one. He has very different roles in life. As the second son he does not have the huge duty than Anthony, the Viscount, who as the eldest inherited all that comes with the title, and family head, and his sister Daphne who as a lady was solely to marry a good match. It is frustrating for Benedict that he is often just seen as another eligible Bridgerton brother. This story shows that while he is a Bridgerton, he is also a strong individual whose personality is fleshed out as the story continues. It really whets the appetite to learn more about the other individual Bridgertons.

Another read of pure pleasure
Ig i was honest felt the first few chapters to Cinderella like and was disappointed. But how wrong could I be. The story developed and I was dragged in. Each chapter developing the story further and further. Just excellent writing. Thank you Julia Quinn..

A Cinderella story
This is very much a Cinderella story and a bit predictable. But it's a fun and sweet story.

Truly marvelous
I feel out of my place to review such a beautiful piece of art ... The way the author painted or crafted this whole Bridgerton series is truly marvelous . I'm na exactly a fan of romance genre entirely but these books ,they are something otherworldly... Maybe I'm a bit biased towards Benedict that's why the books feels on a whole new level maybe 😅 ..Also it starts with classic periodical "bastard child" being treated harshly by step mom ... Then the ball arrives classic cindrella .. but here she might not have "woobidi woo" magic but still it wasn't any less than that ... I kept having wave 🌊 of goosebumps all-over me .The book is a marvelous creation of historic background, and it's high society , culture , and especially the Bridgerton's ❤️... Takes you on a magical ride to a certain period of time.
