I was doing a build with an older case that only had USB A Headers, so I used this to add a high speed USB-C port to the front panel.

Bought for use with a Meta Quest 2 for VR to tether to my PC, this was able to charge the headset while maintaining highspeed data transfer for low latency, it should be stated that the battery level on the Q2 will drop to 82% i have yet to see whether it will go lower than that, but this is usually after 3hrs of flight sim. no other product i tried was able to achieve this. products included: pcie x4 usb cards, multitude of type A to C cables. Using it with my Asus artpro motherboard and it works with the 60w fast quick charge 4 protocol.

Installed easily, seems to work as expected so far. If I could subtract 1/2 star it'd be due to the bracket being slightly different than pictured (USB-C connector is centered on bracket, instead of offset like shown in all of their photos). I would have preferred the offset bracket, but would have purchased this item either way, so it wasn't worth knocking off a full star. But hopefully this review helps in case the bracket is a deal breaker for someone else.

This one actually works really fast and it's easy to install plug and Play

I’m able to get a full 20 gbps which is nice, but make sure your motherboard is too as I’ve seen a lot of people assume the speed is limited by the cable. The speed will listed in your motherboard’s manual. Other than that the cable is plenty long enough to reach the far side of a full tower atx.

Product arrived with an 'old' label which I had to query with the seller. Apparently Amazon still has some 'old' stock that state USB3.1 Gen2 10Gbps, not the actual product specs as listed. Besides this, product has been working fantastic. Easy to fit, solid motherboard connector, tidy finish.

Install on MSI Z690A, and was long enough for old Casing with 5.25” slot, which modify to fit the USB “C”

I bought the 90 degree one but didn’t fit. Changed to the straight one and it fit and worked perfectly as claimed. Ie to usb 3.2 gen 2x2 specs.

Bought two pieces and both units. Working well as it should giving me more USB C outlet.

Modern motherboards have USB-C connection Header but no one knows where to find its connecting cable .. This cable is beautifully made and fits well and with this I am making all USB-C ports in use ..
