I have owned an ESAM 4200 for ten years and used it daily. This model is identical, perhaps more stylish, with added metal components such as the drip tray. It's well-built and serves perfect espresso. The dispensing area is ideal for anything from a tiny espresso cup to a full-sized mug. The latter is precisely where you need to be if you love coffee. The only flaw was that I bought this from Amazon. It was shipped to the UAE, and there is an EU-molded plug, so be prepared to buy an adapter if you want to use it immediately. Other than this, you will not regret it.

It always breaks down and consumes way too much water and waste a lot of coffee.I don’t recommend buying this product.7/10 times I have issues making the coffee either there is 1000 errors that need to be addressed or it means descaling every few days.

It’s the best coffee machine I’ve ever used in this price range. Absolutely about my expectations. Clean itself when powering on and powering off. Perfect aromatic coffee even if you produced 10-15 cups at the same time. No built in compartment for milk but I don’t mind as you can use fresh milk all the time and the milk frother froth at the best quality just shake up and down and to your coffee and woallah the best coffee ever!Don’t forget to fill the water and clean the discharge box inside the machine and silver tray for cups as It’s makes your machine as new even after many years!

It serves the purpose well. Good quality coffee maker. It would have been great if it had the option to premix milk.

The machine is very robust and reliable but for the 2 years that I own it, the quality of coffee it produces can be best described as Meh. I tried everything I could, changing beans, cleaning, tweaking the settings but it never managed to produce anything impressive.We mainly use the machine now to steam the milk

I don't drink coffee but this was a lockdown purchase when we couldn't get to the coffee shops and two years on it's still in almost daily use by my partner. With Costa beans at home, it's almost like the real thing!
