So they have a guaranteed shelf life of 10 years..... Does that mean Amazon can sell you batteries as new that are 9 years old? I checked my dates when the batteries arrived, and they were 18 months old already. That just doesn't feel right. And the last set of the exact same order didn't last 6 months in service which didn't feel right either. I use them for providing some light to an otherwise dim staircase and they might not be used for days, and then only for a short time before the light turns itself back off again. So, infrequent use......and not even 6 months before they're too low to do the job? It doesn't seem right.

Had to buy for my physics lab. The package was a bit torn but the batteries worked perfectly. I do think there could’ve been at least 6 for that amount but otherwise works well. They were a bit heavy to carry.
