Looks and works well. Takes 30 minutes to put together but sturdy and light.

Ultra Tow Aluminum Cargo Carrier
It would have been nice to have the proper wrench & hex wrench sizes included in the screw & bolt package. It took me longer to obtain proper fitting tools for the bolts than it did to put it together. It's an easy assembly with proper tools. I like the lightweight aluminum frame which attaches to a sturdy steel base which fit perfectly into my 2" receiver. The pin is large and sturdy to connect base to my truck receiver. I'm an older single lady and so the carrier's lightweight is important to me since I must lift it alone. It is still plenty sturdy to carry my trash cans, yard debris, coolers etc. I like the 8" high sides for support and I bought a cover net which attaches easily. I store it in my truck and it keeps items enclosed at rear tailgate within easy reach when not in use. The extra width 22.5" versus 19.5" of most carriers makes it a better choice for my needs. Fair price and good quality.

well built
I've used this several times now and so far it seems to be well built with good welds. It is very light and easy to use. I have a small generator on it, about 100 lbs, and so far so good.

Great carrier
It did not take long for me to assemble, but you do need some tools put it together. Once it's assemble, I like how sturdy it feels and how light it is to carry behind the car (or in and out of the garage). I'll soon find out how road-worthy this carrier is. If there is any issue, I'll report back. Otherwise, please consider this my official endorsement!

Travel ease
Light weight, easy to take on and off.

Light and sturdy
I chose this model because it is shorter in width than other products and looked sturdier for strapping heavy items. The aluminum construction makes it light, as well as sturdy and I like the robust reflectors in the back.

Mediocre quality; wrong tool list
The bracket on the steel carrier was welded to steel tube badly misaligned (see photo) . Large gap between steel bracket and aluminum carrier. If the bolts are tightened aluminum carrier deforms to match steel (much stiffer). Had to get washer shims to fill gaps and longer bolts to properly install carrier.Instructions say a (uncommon) 16mm wrench is needed : it is not needed. Instructions say a 7mm wrench needed; a 8mm wrench/socket is needed (or two small adjustable wrenches).. A 5mm hex wrench is needed but the 6mm hex wrench is not needed. ( Did anyone at Northern Tool proofread?)Hints: when installing rails put ALL small bolts in place with loose nuts then start tightening the bolts/nuts. Note also that there are two different lengths of large bolts : use the short ones for the carrier corners.BTW: My car exhaust impinged directly on the plastic corners of carrier. I installed a piece aluminum “ flashing” around the front corners of carrier to protect the plastic and the cargo
