Q: I'm a very small lady, do these fit well on small wrists ( 5.25“circumference)?

They should, they are adjustable, they fit me well and i have skinny wrists as well

Q: Any issues with pinching on the wrists? That seems to be a fairly common complaint with other brands of similar types of products.

The neoprene is flexible and does not pinch my wrists at all. I have relatively small wrists too. I love these hooks. Very well made. I have tried three other brands and these are the ones I use daily. I can say well made because I am using them in a way they are not manufactured to be used. I have a broken metacarpal in my left hand so I can not make a fist. The hook is allowing me to continue to do pull ups, rows, and a slew of other lifts that would otherwise keep me out of the gym.

Q: will this help with deadlift?

Yes. I purchased this because I've damaged my left hand; pinky and index finger do perform about 50% so I could not pull lat bar with adequate weight. Will work for dead lifts as well, I would alternate grip (left over - right under).
