The brightest out there!
It's blindingly bright even in the day time you can see the light from 1/2 a mile , I had first seen this with a rider climbing up mt diablo and was impressed with its daytime performance so decided to give it a try.PROs:Many! to begin with its super super bright! @350 lumens!!!, it has a long lasting battery lasts my 100 miler without issues. Easy to mount and go , pretty good design suitable to mount on the seatpost not under the saddle like many a small ones out there. Also this is bright from the side profile and aptly right dimensions to be not too smallOnly CON is its not USB-C :(

Absurdly Bright, Design Oversight with Mounting Mechanism
The media could not be loaded. April 2025 Update:Still going strong, zero issues with water intrusion, still unbelievably bright. Cyclists now ask me to use the lower settings if in tight quarters. I've used all light settings and the range is excellent for all conditions. Charge keeps for up to 1 week with 1-2 hours of use per day.Purchased April 2023I ride daily in NYC, and *in* traffic, since bike lanes are often overcrowded with confused riders–arguably just as dangerous as cars at times. The Hypershot 350 is actually 1 of 2 rear lights on the bike (again, I ride in traffic). It is fully visible in daylight, and unavoidable at night. I have not walked back to gauge the total distance it is visible, but I have stopped mid-street on avenues and observe the red flicker on street signs *at least* 1/4 of a mile back. If you stand 30 feet behind it, it is practically blinding. Other comments suggesting its brightness looks like an ambulance from a distance are accurate.Received multiple comments from cyclists in daylight hours "wow, that is extremely bright" and "it was so bright I had to slow down and put more distance between me and you."Excellent visibility aside, there are two ways of mounting: a vertical clip; and a lateral (side to side) release of the clip itself. The latter is completely unnecessary, and the light fell off the bike mid-ride three times before I forced the lateral mechanism shut. No issues with the charging port cover, but I see the frailty of it may become an issue; be gentle or the rubber stop will come out, and you will pain yourself to reattach it. Too many lighting options; I only use two (random strobing, pulsing flash).Highly recommended. Absolutely makes riding safer. Waterproof.Video includes use of both the Hypershot 350 (seat post mount) *and Hypershot 150.

Perfect and bright.
It is the brightest one that I could find. It is easy to adjust the light brightness and to change modes. The highest brightness may be too bright for nighttime use. But, it is excellent for daytime use. Which, is what I got it for. It seems secure. But, I feel like it needs a lanyard. I will eventually add one, in the best way that I can. It's too nice of a light to not have it on a lanyard. Just in case. / It was too low to connect it to the seat post on my bicycle. The back tire was higher than it. So, I purchased the under-seat attachment. But, it was barley high enough. I'd like more mounting options. Like, 90 degrees.

Blindingly bright
I bought the 150 lumen and the 350 lumen one. The 150 was plenty bright. This one was blindingly bright! I'm not sure I'd be safer. Sure, from 200 yards away they can see me better than with the 150, but from 50 feet away it might be too bright. I'll have to experiment with them. FYI I largely use them during the day as I try to avoid biking at night.I liked the fact that it came with two different mounts. It can also clip onto your belt or your rear pockets.

Very bright!
I used this light for 7 days straight during an across state bike ride. The light is extremely bright and holds charge for hours! It performed well in rain, on gravel and pavement. Money well spent.

One of the brightest tail lights made!
I owned a Cygolite Hotshot 100 for years and a competitors tail light before this. I keep coming back to Cygolite for a reason. Durability and features that are really used (some newer tail lights even adapt to braking which I find to be a gimmick), not features of limited to no use at all. For the reason of price alone, I chose the 250 lumen version of this light. The Hotshot 100 I had was very visible. It just took forever to charge. This light came with just above 50% charge and took less than an hour and a half to charge fully. We'll see if the claims of 3 hour charge time holds factual once i drain the battery to charging level again.Just two gripes about this light and Cygolite should be ashamed of itself. The seatpost clamp does NOT fit a 31.6 mm seatpost. They seem to be holding onto the smaller standard for seatposts. Thankfully, they've now made the standard for tail light mounts and I was able to use the old tail light mount to mount it to the seatpost until I get the T-mount I ordered specifically for my rack in and mounted. The second gripe is common to most bicycle tail lights. However, Cygolite still hasn't addressed their largest complaint. The charging port cover will not last more than a year at best even with the newer cover that I noticed. One of their competitors makes a better port cover, but not much better. Eventually, I'll have to replace it with duct tape to prevent moisture from entering at this point which is what killed the last Cygolite I owned. All said, I still recommend the Cygolite's. Headlamp or tail light. Their products will last even if you dump the bicycle while riding on wet or uneven surfaces. They are well worth their price. I only docked one star for the minimal gripes I had.
