I have bought and loved this calcium supplement for years. They were always fresh and tasty, and I took them daily on the advice of my doctor. Recently, they were not available, but resurfaced on Amazon. I bought two bags. Upon opening the bags, each wrapped calcium disk was covered in a white powdery film. Thinking that it was just this one bag, I opened my second bag, which was also covered in that same powder. . Desperate for a tasty calcium supplement, I went to the Vitamin store at the shopping mall. I told the manager that I would like to buy just one package, then open it to check if it is covered in a white powder. They said they would happily refund me if it was not perfect. I bought it, the manager and I opened it up and the SAME POWDER was covering the chocolate disk. The manager went to get another bag and opened it - same thing. He said it was never like that before as he used to take this same calcium tablet. SO, I am afraid to buy this product right now. If I ever succumb and try again ( this calcium disk used to be my favorite) I will go to the vitamin store here at home and ask them to open it up and then … if it’s chocolatety, I’ll buy 2 bags! But until then, I will buy only to get a refund if it is discolored. This calcium used to be chocolatey (no film) and delicious. I hope it can be restored to how good it usd to be.

I love this product. It tastes like straight up yummy chocolate and is a treat for me every day while getting my calcium in.HOWEVER.... I WILL NOT BE PURCHASING IT THROUGH AMAZON EVER AGAIN!!!!I usually purchase it at a local health food store but decided for convenience to order off Amazon. The chocolate I received is old, chalky and gross. The discs are uniform in shape still so it doesn't look like an issue from melting in shipping. Returns are not offered on this product so I'm stuck with it... I love this calcium supplement, I have taken it for several years it has the calcium, D3 and magnesium that help with absorption. My favorite thing about it is that it is a tasty little chocolate, I never forget to take it because it's like a wrapped candy!!!

I have ordered this Adora dark chocolate calciums which I need but sadly most of the time it arrives horribly melted and also unexplained white chocolate blobs inside. Very poor quality control and arrive melted and crumbly when you open one up. Not sure how the white blobs are inside but happens a lot. It is a non returnable item. Majority of time I ordered it is melted mess. Rarely do I get a good batch. Why is this?!

I purchased this in July this year and the chocolate was fine. Then I read a bunch of reviews where people were getting tainted chocolate. Well I can tell you this is fixed, at least for my recent order in October, shipping in California. This is my favorite way of getting calcium.

Can I give this zero stars?? These are delicious if you buy them at Whole Foods but whatever they are selling on Amazon is horrible. Maybe 10 years old somethings? 1st batch seemed old...white and powdery but we grit our teeth and worked through them. The latest batch was insanely bad and we had to return it. Check out this photo! Then went to Whole Foods and got a bag each of dark and milk chocolate ones which are delicious. So some shenanigans with whatever this is they are selling on Amazon! DON'T BUY!

Excellent product. Concern with discoloration and receiving in hot weather.
