Q: Does this valve fit either the high or low side?

i thought i could save some shipping time and went to my local auto part store and buy it there. these parts look the same but they are not i rarly use after market parts it failed fast so i ordered my part(ac delco)it worked great 2 in a pack i only did low side on my 1997 chevy tahoe i do not know if it well fit the high side call the dealer parts dept they should know.> also i used this a very good tool it saved me. Q: will this fit in the high side port on my 98 sonoma?

I believe the valve is the same for high side and low side

Q: Does it come with the spring?

Spring is built into the valve just like a tire schrader valve. Just make sure you pull a vacuum & put oil back in the system if all your freon leaked out, or you’ll burn up the compressor. If there’s still freon in there, buy the mastercool tool that lets you change the valve without letting any out.
