Great light! Here's how to get it out of demo mode and use it...
Since the instructions this thing came with are totally useless, and actually incorrect, here's how to use the light:Single-click to turn the light on.It will cycle through all the colours and settings, then turn off by itself. This is demo mode.To get out of demo mode: With the light on, hold the button down as long as it takes until it comes on and stays on, about 15-30 seconds. It will come on in bright white mode.Turn on colour mode: With the light on, double-click very fast. This will put it in strobe mode (cycles through the colours). Then single-click through the colours to select one. When you get to the end of the colours, the light will turn off.Turn on white mode: When you turn it back on, it will still be in colour mode. To get back to white mode, double-click very fast. Then single click through the brightnesses of white to pick the one you want. When you get to the end of brightnesses, the light will turn off.For candle mode: With the light on, press and hold the button for 3-5 seconds.I spent almost an hour trying to figure this thing out, and I had it packaged up, ready for a return, then I decided to contact Goal Zero directly to get help about how to operate this light, and they told me. I don't know WHY they don't include correct instructions on the package, manual, and website!Anyway, aside from the palaver of trying to figure out how to actually use this lamp, it is fantastic. Lightweight, solar and usb rechargeable, nice colours, lots of hanging options, very cool, etc.The only gripe is the price. I don't know whether it's individual companies or Amazon, or both, but someone is taking the mickey with these prices!

I love this!
Amazing product. Aids in my sleep as the candle flicker mode soothes me.

Good gadget but overpriced
This lantern works well although I haven’t tested it’s time length I have had it on for 4 hours and it was still going strong, it also has a usb charging option as another option. This item is not as big as it looks in the images, the height is 10cm the width 12.7cm sq which is mug size. The item is overpriced and I would say it is worth £20

Died after exactly 6 months.
Was one of my favourite camping gear essentials for the last few months. I was about to buy another one and even write a blog about how great this thing is. But exactly 6 months (-3days) of light use (usually charging with a cable not solar) the lamp suddenly died and now wont recharge _ I've tried changing cables/plugs/sockets... nothing works. Its now just a piece of trash for the land fill. :(Is there a warranty on this thing?
