This is bye far the best product I have ever brought, easy to install through videos on YouTube, it only took me thirty minutes to install from start to finish, most H-Vac guys will charge from five hundred to two thousand to do this replacements and repair job, im truly greatful for this product through Amazon. not a start/run capacitor for constant use. but good to have in a pinch. until you are able to order the proper size cap.

Easy fix! Non-hvac DIY'r, took me maybe 30m to replace, like other reviews stated. Homeowners, do yourself a favor and get this cap if your ac fan or compressor stops working.

It is a good capacitor, but I received one with a small dent on one side. Amazon replaced it VERY fast. Thanks!!! I have a suggestion for the manufacturer. Please place the capacitor itself in the hard cardboard tube before shipping. It makes your product safer in the transportation process. I'm positive that dent was received during the transportation.This is a good capacitor; the packaging needs some attention. Thanks to Amazon for the fast replacement.

I found this capacitor in a TikTok video—an HVAC guy recommended it, saying they’re really good products and can last over 5 years. I decided to give it a shot and bought one. Since installing it, the power-up noise is quieter, the house cools faster, and there's no more "clank" when it shuts off. (Will update if needed, April 2025)

Warranty was for 5 years, lasts 5 years. When my AC wouldn't start up in spring I didn't even bother to look at it and just ordered another one of these. Did the swap and everything is working great again. The only thing I will say about this capacitor is that while it lasted 5 years the other generic capacitor in my other AC has been running for 15. Still - $65 is far cheaper than the $550 charged by union repairmen. I monitor the price for this cap and notice it goes from $65 in non-summer months to over $125 during summer, so it maybe worth getting one.
