I pre-ordered this book and eagerly awaited its arrival. I am using it (I am on Day 31 as I submit this review) to prepare for my consecration, and it has been a lovely experience. There are a few typos (regarding page numbers) but these do not take away from the power of this book or leave the reader lost. It is laid out well, taking one through the 33-day preparation easily. I love the inclusion of a list of feast days with dates so you can choose your consecration day, and I appreciate the editor's explanations of some concepts that may have made complete sense to some but, in 2019, do not exactly translate -- phrases like, "being a slave," for example. I read de Monfort's The Secret of the Rosary along with this text, which I found to be a good companion -- that book provided me with some background information that made what I found in this book more meaning, but I also believe the book stands on its own. Highly recommended.
