I sprung for the expensive metal one originally and hated it. This I swapped in easily and it is so much nicer! Holds more spins more easily

The product itself is a 5 star, but my goodness the instructions are not my favorite. I'll be the first to admit, replacing shelving is not my realm of expertise, but when the provided step-by-step instructions are as basic as these are, with ONE visual aide to refer to, the predicted 15 minute set up time is immediately thrown out the window. In other words, the instructions need to be dumbed down or there needs to be more visual cues (ex. A labeled screw picture). Overall, assembly did happen and the outcome looks great!

Took an hour to pack tools and three hours on site to install. That probably included time to shovel 3 inches of snow off a single wide driveway and walks. My daughter had removed the old unit and vacuumed the cabinet prior to my arrival. I washed the old cabinet first. The cabinet was home made and the templates were not usable. I was able to pick up center on the lower attachment from the old units hardware and screw holes. Tried the same on the top mount but there were many holes. (My daughter had removed the old unit prior to my arrival.) After initial install, I had to move the top bracket screws and move the bracket a few times to get the door to align with the frame. All and all, it aligned ok and worked as designed. We will see how it holds up. I will update this report in 25 years. If I'm not dead.

I bought this unit to replace the 35 year old lazy susan in our kitchen cabinets. It was almost identical to the one it replaced. It took a bit of measuring and helped to have a level / plum line to make sure the post was perfectly vertical. Fortunately I have an app on my ipone that had both capabilities.It also helps to have an electric drill since there are a lot of self tapping wood screws that have to be used to put it together.

Original tray was cracking. This replacement is good as new! Call company if you're not sure on size - they gave me the right number to order.

I purchased to replace 30 year old turntables. These were not as sturdy as my old set and we ended up putting in shelves supports as I was afraid they would crack with weight on them instead of sending them back due to the weight of the packaging. As we used them we keep having problems with the screw system that clamps the turntable rod to the cabinet. You must always turn the unit counterclockwise or it unscrews itself.

This was a direct replacement for the existing lazy susan we had in our kitchen. It was a perfect fit and looks great. It is a bit of a learning curve installing one for the first time but well worth the effort.
