Attractive Product
The product has its own pouch which is a good thing as I then dont have to keep it in a box everytime. Tried it out on a few noise making items such as a mixer, street sounds, music, TV etc. gives me good reading. Dont have comparable figures to know whether its accurate or not but it gives you a good idea on the sound levels

Solid product but sensitivity to low frequency drumbeats is poor.
Solid product but sensitivity to low frequency drumbeats is poor. It does not show high db reading even when the low frequency drumbeats are causing significantly high noise pollution and nuisance.

No average db function
It shows only instantaneous Db, no average function , instantaneous Db is useless ,average db is the one which determines hearing loss , a iPad or iphone does a better job

Inaccurate reading. Instrument without zero settings or calibration
It is supposed to measure the sound level in surrounding. Instrument is showing 40 to 50 reading in empty room with almost no noise whatsoever. A slight music and reading jumps to 100+. The instrument should have a zero setting/ zero calibration. A test certificate should be accompanied.
