Having used this book as an 8 year old, I now use it to teach my pupils how to play the clarinet. It has clear and accurate diagrams of clarinet fingering patterns, and the melodies it uses are easily recognisable no matter what the age of the child.This is an excellent first clarinet tutor, which can be used along side take up the clarinet repetoires to make both lessons and practicing fun.
