Great quality and easy installation
This is a great quality set of tapers and tunnels. I love that the tunnels attach to the taper and you can just slide it through. Screw the taper off and put the back of the tunnel on. Great size options. Amazingly cheap for the size variety package!

Have bought twice, and would buy again
I’ve gotten this product twice—I lost a couple of them when I stopped gauging my ears but I’m back at it now. They’re really good they’re comfy in the ear, don’t rust (at least in my experience), and the variety in sizes is great. I’ve gotten plenty of compliments on them. Just know that it starts going up in 0.5 mm, and then after 5mm they go up by 1mm. Also, they now give gauge wax to help slip them in with your order (on my first order they didn’t have that) so you don’t have to immediately buy new wax or oil after getting them, or if you’re running low you’ll have some on hand! It’s actually decent quality gauge wax too. I def recommend them.

If you are impatient GET THEM NOW
AAAHHHH THEY ARE SO NICE. I am gauging up twice as fast as before, and the screw on spikes is amazing. So worth it.

This puts other kits to shame
Update: I also ordered the kit for smaller sizes to begin gauging a secondary lobe piercing, and I am SO impressed with both kits. One thing to keep in mind is that the smallest size (1.6mm/14G) is too small for the screw-on tunnels that every other size includes, so I'd recommend either getting a pair of 14G earrings along with the kit, or starting the stretch at the beginning of the day so you can graduate to the 2mm size and have those tunnels in by bedtime. (I did both in the same day, and while it wasn't a painless stretch, it healed quickly, and the stretches past that are effortless compared to any other taper sets I've tried.) I would absolutely recommend these stainless steel kits, whether you're just starting out or already have stretched ears, but are looking for a better option to keep sizing up! ---- I decided to gauge my ears again after a long hiatus, and first started with a kit containing acrylic tapers + single flare tunnels with o-rings. I quickly remembered what a pain it can be to try to get a tunnel in after the taper and only then did I order this kit-- I wish I had found it first! I anticipated that I'd appreciate the ease of swapping from taper to tunnel, but I did not anticipate how much more effective the tapers themselves would be (being metal with good weight to them helps the stretching process, and helps not have to feel like I need to apply pressure like I do with acrylics.) I also do not understand why 'half sizes' aren't standard in the game now, because they make SO much more sense and make the process of sizing up so much safer and easier.

⭐ Overall Impression
This kit offers a solid, full-range starter set for ear gauging with a lot of value for the price. It’s particularly well suited for beginners or people wanting to progress gradually in gauge sizes. The use of 316L surgical stainless steel and a well-polished finish suggests good quality and durability (as claimed). The inclusion of multiple components (tapers, plugs, eyelets) in one set is convenient. However, as with most stretch kits, success depends heavily on technique, patience, and aftercare. ✅ Pros & What Works Well Wide size range / completeness The set covers from 14G (1.6 mm) all the way up to 00G (10 mm). Amazon Alongside tapers, it includes matching plugs and eyelets, so you don’t have to buy them separately. Amazon Material quality The product is made of 316L surgical stainless steel, which is a hypoallergenic metal commonly used in body jewelry. Amazon The listing also states that the pieces are highly polished, which helps with comfort and reduces the risk of irritation. Amazon Affordable / value for money Compared to buying individual gauges and plugs, getting 36 pieces in one kit is cost-effective for someone who intends to stretch gradually. Many users expect that kind of convenience in a kit. Decent packaging & presentation The kit ships in a "good gift box" (as per listing) which makes it nicer to handle and store. Amazon It’s also marketed with a 100-day money-back guarantee, which gives buyers some confidence. Amazon ⚠️ Cons & Potential Issues Quality control variation In mass-produced kits, not every piece may be perfectly finished. Some tapers or plugs might have minor burrs or slight irregularities. Users should inspect each piece before use and polish or discard imperfect ones. Technique-sensitivity Stretching ears can go badly if done too fast, without proper lubrication, or forcing. Even a good kit can’t prevent tearing or blowouts if used incorrectly. Beginners must go slowly, stretch one size at a time, and use aftercare. Weight and bulk at larger sizes At larger gauges (e.g. around 00G), heavier plugs might pull or irritate the lobes if left in too long, especially if the jewelry is thick. The kit likely includes multiple plug options, but users should pick lighter ones for everyday wear. No directional control / no instructions The listing gives some basic tips (clean, keep away from chemicals, store separately) but does not seem to include detailed step-by-step instructions or best practices in the listing information. Amazon Beginners may benefit from external guides or professional advice. Risk of mixing up pieces Because there are many pieces of different sizes, especially when close in size, there’s a chance of confusion or mis-sizing. Labeling or organizing in storage is essential. 🎯 Recommendation & Use Tips For the price, this is a very good starter kit for someone committed to gradual gauging. Go slowly: Only move to the next size when your ear is fully healed at the current size. Use lubrication (like jojoba oil or a suitable water-based lubricant) when inserting tapers and plugs to reduce friction and trauma. Sanitize everything before use (e.g. rinse with saline, alcohol, or following piercing care standards). Store pieces carefully so they don’t get scratched or contaminated. Inspect every piece before use; any with rough edges or defects should be polished further or discarded. If you feel pain, extreme resistance, or tearing, stop and back down — healing is more important than speed.

Half Sizes!!
Been sitting at an 8G for MONTHS and couldn't get to a 6g no matter what I did. I needed half sizes but I refused to pay $60+ for a few to reach my goal of 2G. But when these came in I could finally size up! Currently sitting at 3.5MM now! Now for anyone that's a little slow like me, I noticed when they came in "huh..there's only one taper. No way they want me to size up one ear at a time" but after looking at the description pictures multiple times, I realized what they had sent, so if you need this step by step review then read on! What you're going to do is screw one of the plugs onto the taper, get that oiled up (or lube, soap, whatever you use) then you're going to slowly pull that through. Once the plug is in completely, gently unscrew the taper and cap the plug. Do the same for the other ear! I'm so used to using tapers in both ears to size up that this really caught me off guard seeing one taper, but in all reality, it's best not to size up with tapers anyway, as they are not too comfortable to sleep in and could snag on something. So I love this idea of just pulling the plug through. Simple and very easy! My ONLY complaint is that it's stainless steel, and with the previous stainless steel plugs I've had, they make the skin around the metal peel and flake, so I prefer acrylic more. Maybe one day they'll make these in acrylic but for now it'll do!

Fantastic Design
I’ve never seen a gauging kit quite like this before. I love that you can unscrew the spike and screw on a flat back! Genius! This set also comes with ear ointment to help moisturize your earlobes. Which makes them extremely easy to insert. They’re light enough to be comfortable for long term wear. I’ll definitely be buying bigger sets to help me reach my stretching goals, as they come in 1mm increments - perfection!
