My granddaughter loved this set!

This product is colorful and exciting for little ones who want to play house. Great for imaginary play. Love the velcro vegetables and pretend knife. Items are sturdy. Comes in a carrying case which is always great. My only complaint is the cups leak when tried to fill with water. I washed these cups and they separated in the water. Turns out, it is not a whole cup. It is the sides of a cup glued to a bottom rim. Other than this, the item is a great gift for young children.

My almost 3 yr old grand daughter was using her snack crackers to cut up with her kitchen play ware, so I started searching for something she would be able to interact with, without getting cracker carnage all over my living room...and I found this. This set of pretend food was perfect. It comes with several fruits and vegetables and a stacking burger that she can use her child safe play knife to slice in half. Each piece of fruit or veg is held together with velcro that even matches the colors of veggie or fruit and its easy for her to use the little cutting board that comes with it and slice her play foods in half...she LOVES it...no more crackers on the floor, this has kept her entertained for hours, of course I play with her and she loves the interaction she gets from us playing together!!! This is a perfect choice for girls and boys who like to play kitchen. This collection also includes a nice snap shut bin to store all the pieces together, and its easy for toddler hands to open by themselves. I am VERY impressed with this product, I would recommend this to any curious foody child!!!!

Very cute playfood set for my son's kitchen.However, the pans are so tiny they are almost unusable and frustrate him since he can't but more than half a piece of food inside. Consider the set for the food and supplement with bigger pots/pans.

I was on the fence wheather or not this set was worth the money...but the reviews for the most part were positive and I'm here now to add to those as this toy became one of my niece's favorites last Christmas! For preference the kid I got this for is less then 3 years old, shy and fussy, and is technically my Boyfriend's family so I don't know her too personally but wanted to get her something nice none the less. She's a little kid so of course getting them to open the rest of their gifts, pose in photos with the family, and not nap or wander off with the first toy they opened was going to take a little patience. But when she was coexed to open a few more presents her face did a 180 from impatient and wanting to be anywhere else, to being so excited when she saw the picture on the box! Anything that gets that kind of reaction from a little kid on Christmas day gets my approval. The toy was easy to assemble as the Mother was able to take it out of the box and put the legs on fairly quick. Given the price and whats included (table, tea set, utensils,food) this is a good present for kids who like to pretend. She pulled the top off and started "chopping" the velcro fruits with the knife. The toy is colorful and the size/height is a comfortable for her to sit on the floor.

The Velcro grip between the two sides of the fruits and veggies is extremely strong and kinda tuff to slide the toy knife through but it can be done and I think that the challenge can make it a much better toy to play and build skills with. The plastics are also very very sturdy so thanks for that.Hopefully a long shelf life for years to come for more grandkids to be born.

My kids absolutely love these!! The velcro is super strong and these are well made. The knives are a bit flimsy but they hold up to cutting through the velcro! These would make a great gift for any toddler!

Good for the price. My kids loved it. Months after everything still looks brand new.
