Great art, but too big
The cards and art are really cool and I love the aesthetic and the book that came with the cards; however, the cards are ready big (the dimminsions are listed in the product description, so a little my own fault). There are no other size options and the size of the cards makes them awkward to shuffle

Beware of the new 2nd edition!
I had purchased this oracle deck because I am absolutely head-over-heels in love with Lucy Cavendish's " Oracle of Shadows and Light " and was moved and inspired by her amazing interpretations and messages for each of the cards. Not only that, I was especially moved by the artwork. To me, the artwork along with Lucy's explanations and meanings behind them is what really made me connect with that deck... and so I bought this deck having fell in love with the artwork after seeing pictures of the cards. I now sorely regret my purchase. What I received was nothing like what I had saw online. Blue Angel has modified the deck and made a 2nd edition which, in my opinion, is uglier. So what's different?** Each card had its own different color border that blended in quiet nicely with the artwork. This made for a very full, vibrant-colored deck. Now, each card is confined to the same cream colored border that looks awkward, out of place, and makes each card seem 1-dimensional.** The back of the cards, which had once conveyed an air of mystery with its pentacle star, is now the Lady Titania card with a brown border.** The packaging itself has also changed. Instead of the cover image being that of the Wild Huntress, it is now of the Lady Titania as well.** Some of the cards has had their artwork changed -- for the worse! The Chenguang card in particular went from being a colorful and inviting symbol/icon of a dragon to a lame and boring depiction of what looked like a Chinese emperor with a random (ugly) dragon. The artwork is certainly beautiful on an individual level for each card, but I was rather turned off by the complete lack of artistic consistency within this deck because the art comes from seven different artists. With only 43 cards, its very easy to see the lack of artistic flow from one card to another. Classic art (Lady Titania), beautiful fantasy painting-like art (The Dragonfae Goddess Tiamet), cartoonish art (Brigid and The Morrighan), to realism (Gwynne & Elluish) -- it's all here. This deck is certainly not of Lucy's best either as far as the interpretations for each card goes. In her Oracle of Shadows and Light , her writing was extremely moving as it touched you on a really deep and personal level. I did a reading with the dragonfae deck, and while it wasn't necessarily inaccurate, it was too general and the divination meanings seemed uninsightful, and lacking in depth that was seen in her Oracle of Shadows and Light .Lastly, I'm unsure as to whether or not the art was specifically made for this deck, but I'll go on a whim here and say that it wasn't, because it would be hard to believe otherwise. It seems like Lucy went and picked random artwork that had to sort of look alike, but not quite consistent, and had at least one dragon/fairy/butterfly/any "winged" creature/object in it somewhere just to claim that the person or being in the picture is a "dragonfae". In her Oracle of Shadows and Light , the semi-equivalent of the Time Guardian was the Angel of Time. The artist who drew that entire deck clearly depicts in the artwork of the Angel of Time card, the meanings and interpretations behind it onto the card itself. This was demonstrated by seeing clock gizmos on the angel's wings and in her background. Yet, in the Oracle of the Dragonfae, the Time Guardian depicts a random (yet beautiful) dragon, yet nothing in the image conveys the message that there is no need to feel rushed, or that there is a lack of time. Almost every card tragically suffers from a lack of identity or correspondence to its message. Combine that with everything I said above, it was VERY difficult to connect with this deck on any level.Overall I really wanted to love this deck, especially after being absolutely blown away by Lucy's former Oracle of Shadows and Light , I expected to find that same quality in this deck. If the second edition didn't change the borders and the artwork of the cards, I might have been more receptive to it in its original form, concerning its artwork. Don't get me wrong, the artwork is certainly beautiful, but they do not convey the interpretations Lucy has given them at all, nor are they artistically consistent. If you enjoy having different forms of art within your deck and not caring whether or not if the image you are seeing has anything to do with the interpretation, then you would like this deck. I personally don't feel blessed to have this deck in my oracle collection and wish I could send it back.***I have uploaded images of the packaging and what the cards now look like in the new 2nd edition.***

Another Wunderful Cavendish Deck
I won't say too much about this deck other than its another great deck by Lucy Cavendish. The artwork is a little more stunning than her Wild Wisdom of the Faery deck but not as stunning as her Oracle of Shadows and Light. But nevertheless, its a very accurate deck and gives a lot more detail than the Oracle of Shadows and Light depending on how you use it. Its always been pretty accurate in predicting events like all of Lucy's Oracle decks are. I've at times stopped using my Tarot and just used this deck instead and I never thought I would ever considering using an oracle deck alone for a reading, but it has just as much detail and accuracy as using my favorite tarot deck (and I have about an 85-90% accuracy in predicting things with Tarot). Each of her decks Lucy introduces a different spread. There's an 11 card spread she introduces along with her traditional past present and future spread. There are only 2 other oracle deck authors that I like using as far as depth and accuracy goes and that would be Colette Reid's decks and The Frouds Faeries series. Doreen Virtue decks are often hit and miss for me. Some of them work well and others not so well and that's because sometimes the cards just don't have a lot of depth to their explanations and that's why Lucy's decks are more favored by me. I have 3 of her oracle decks and none of them I've had to put away or give away, they speak readily and accurately.

Beautiful, unique, potent and accurate, on cheap glossy card stock—no regrets though!
These cards are beautiful, and substantive. The meanings and especially words of the dragonfae were uncannily spot on and specific. I love the deck and have no regrets. But I will say—it’s some of the cheapest card stock I have come across in all my tarot and oracle purchases. Usually I don’t think twice about these kinds of things, I’m not a card stick snob at all! But these are sticky and super glossy, I almost feel the need to baby powder them so I can get them to shuffle properly. Feel like a disservice to such powerful cards to put them in this level of material!

Wonderful Deck and Wonderful Energy
I have this deck for myself and recently got it for a friend. The art on the cards is stunning, the writing in the book is very touching, and the overall energy this deck has is a very sweet and guiding one (to me). Of course, different decks work for different people! But I definitely recommend this deck to anyone who has has a love for dragons and wants to learn more about Dragonfae.

Great Deck, Not Like the Rider-Waite Deck at All
I really like this deck, and it's got a great little book that comes with it. I really like reading what the book has to say (it is well-written and has some great advice!), however, I wish the explanation for each card was a little more brief. Usually it's the other way around--I wish the book would say more. But this book is more wordy than I would prefer. It's about 4 1/2 " x 6" and the explanation for each card is about 3 1/2 pages. The deck is so different from any that I've used, and I have several. Many of the cards have little (or big) dragons on them. Some cards (only a few) are rather dark (they remind me of Brian Froud's fairy art, of which I'm not a fan). But some cards are quite attractive. All in all, I would recommend this deck. It's not your typical Rider-Waite mimic, but if you like fairies and understand the dragons (they're not evil), then you might want to try this deck.

beautiful
These cards are just beautiful and I connected to them instantly. They are stored in a good quality box with a guide book which gives a really good insight into the world of the Dragonfae, and a detailed description of how to use these lovely cards. It is easy to find the meaning of each card as they are numbered. Each card has a very detailed description of the meaning and a bio of the Dragonfae and how to connect with that source of energy. This is the first card deck I have purchased with the Dragonfae and I love them totally.

These are MAJik
I cannot put into words all the delights these cards have give me or brought to my personal world.I LOVE them. the art is exquisite and they are worthy of poster size interpretation just as art.The explanations and education within is a connection to Britain that is to be relished in my personal recommendation.Lucy Cavendish has every right to hold these up as a real gem of divination and the insights within are wonderful. It is a celebration of Fae and Dragon together that has within it much more that can be presented in the words of this short recommendationDo not Doubt, shrink from or withhold your inquiry if you are looking for a brilliant set of cards and a really feminine inspiration then stop and go no further. This is a presentation of the inspirations of the majik of this land and its secrets; offered in a quiet and gentle glade of the many that would tender for your attention.

Beautiful
I was drawn to these cards rather than choosing them. They have such beautiful energy. I thought it would take some time to connect being I am a novice at all this, but it was with immediate effect. I love the art of these cards too. So beautiful!
