Very healthy and so good tasting
Even feels a bit overpriced, definitely the purchase worth every $ spent on it. It is pretty easy to cook. The grains are clean, needed just twice rinsed off and water was clean, so ready for boiling. Due to my health condition and the diet I have to follow, this item is a part of my diet for good, helping me feel full for long time and almost doesn't affect the glucose blood level. Also it is so healthy, delicious and very versatile to be easy to use it for a base of the meal , adding vegetables and protein, can be used as a out meal when you boil it in the milk with a pinch of sugar (sweetener) or a bunch of berries with a spoon of honey, can be used as a ingredient of the meatballs or for preparing as a base of the salad with vegetables. Or blended into a delicious desert you will love it from the first spoon. Enjoy. Thank you ,5 stars and definitely will purchase soon again.

Now This is Barley!
This is a whole grain, long-cooking barley. I always forget to presoak it, so I put it in soup early in the cooking process. It simmers along with the other soup ingredients for an hour or so. It's delicious, cooks up bigger than any other barley and greatly enhances the consistency of the soup. I hope you give it a try.

Barley
I’ve been making my own Ezekiel bread and these are one of six grains used. When I soak them for germinating they rinse cleanly without any debris. They taste great. I’m very pleased with this purchase. I will continue buying this brand. I only wish I could find Barley that hasn’t been hulled.

Natures Ozempic? Hopefully, but you can’t be spontaneous about this breakfast, sadly!
I read an article saying the closest thing food wise to Ozempic is the special fiber (beta-glucan) that is found in highest amounts in Barley and oats (google it if you don’t believe me!) , so I promptly ordered this organic barley since I will not be putting a syringe in my butt to lose some lbs! Only big drawback is: if you want to cook on stovetop instead of slow cooker or something, you need to soak it overnight, like beans, then cook/simmer for like 40 minutes, which is a drag! I make a huge batch beginning of week so I can use it on the daily to make a “porridge” of sorts with milk, slivered almonds, some fruit, and some stevia for sweetness. Super tasty and somehow fills me up for much longer than a big serving of all bran buds, even though the all bran has much more fiber. I’ll report back in a few months if there is any weight loss happening just from adding this to my diet.

Good quality
It takes a while to cook these, but I think that is normal for hulled barley. It has a nice texture after it’s cooked, but then this is the first time I’ve actually eaten barley, but it is definitely much better than the quaker you buy in the store

This is great!
These are delicious, much more nutritious than pearled barley, and take no longer to cook if you soak them first. I put them in a bowl in the fridge before leaving for work, then made soup in the evening without changing the recipe or timing from pearled, and they came out fine. I eat a lot of brown rice, but now I'll do brown rice half the time and hulled barley the other half.
