Replacement for Discontinued Avital 474L Remote Control Transmitter PLAIN PAK

The supplied pairing instructions are not even close to being correct ! You will have to get your vehicle starters name and model number off the main module and download the installers instructions to get the correct pairing instructions for your particular model.It was a rather long and tedious task to get this key fob paired to my Avital “AVISTART 4113 “ model remote starter .Not easy at all . However once I had gone through the long tedious task of pairing this remote to my specific model this remote now does work as it should .

Although the FOB itself seemed to be of similar quality to the original, the instructions seemed to be a copy of a copy of a copy of a copy and I couldn't decipher what they said. I went online and finally found the same instructions, but failed after many attempts to try and program this FOB to my vehicle. I would suggest purchasing something like this from a local company like "Best Buy" that can also assist with programming it. Since the date of purchase, I've still not been able to link this FOB to my vehicle.

This never worked, despite change in battery. I even took it to the dealer, who was also unable to program it. Don't waste your money.

Works like the one I had.

Worked out perfectly for my truck. Replaced a missing key fob and also now have a spare. Simple to set and calibrate to your vehicle.
