Open Pit Hickory BBQ Sauce, 18-Ounce (Pack of 3)

We had used this product for years. Suddenly it was no longer available locally. We liked that it wasn’t overly smoky, thick enough to stay on whatever you were barbecuing. The price was equal to or less than some of the other brands. It was even good when used for a marinade. The taste is a little sweet but not too sweet and just the right amount of smoky flavor. It definitely taste better after cooking than straight from the bottle. Good for steak, chicken, or pork especially on ribs (pork or beef). Highly recommend Open Pit Barbecue Sauce.

Great taste

Finally a BBQ sauce, full of flavor , tangy, not overwhelmed by mesquite, Smokey flavor, actually a great sauce for grilling pork, chicken, poultry!!!

It was getting hard to find by me in the supermarkets that I shop in. So I found it on Amazon in a 4 pack. This sauce is great for making bbq baby back ribs and it also goes well as a dip for french fries or steak or chicken tidbit sandwiches. Price was pretty good also.

This is by far the best BBQ sauce for dipping steak tidbits or chicken fingers.I also use it in a mixture for a glaze over ribs.It adds just that right amount of kick without being too spicy.Every home should have some.

Should have gotten larger bottles

I love the taste of this product tangy but not hot or sweet,

We did ribs using this Hickory flavor, and their Original version on another set of ribs. After cooking, the taste was undisguisable. Luckily, Open Pit is our favorite sauce, so no one suffered.
