PaititiPiccolo (PTTPICC-N)

For my first piccolo, I truly enjoy this product. I am a flute player and I really wanted to try out a piccolo, but i didn’t have the hundreds of dollars to spend on one. This plays super nice, the quality is really good, and i love it. Definitely worth it.

So I purchased this to participate in my university alumni band. My college piccolo finally was beyond help after 10 years. I was definitely skeptical for such a cheap price, but remarkably it played rather well right out of the case with very little adjustments. The middle register is fine, but the upper register gets very shrill and metallic sounding. Not great tone. Definitely not for a concert setting, but it served its purpose. Additionally, the case is junk. The clasps are flimsy, the piccolo doesn't fit quite right, and the maintenance items just roll around. However, again, for a beginner or for occasional use, I recommend starting with this one.

I am extremely pleased with the sound the excellent quality and workmanship of this piccolo. I am a flute player and wanted to try the piccolo, so this is my first, but with my flute experience I knew what to look for.I had a problem with the B# key not returning quickly but with the supplied tiny screwdriver I loosen the screw on the bar that B# is on and it's perfect.The case is well made. They include a swab stick, a polishing cloth, a tiny tub of lubricant for the keys. Now after two weeks of playing it and playing with it, I'm 100% satisfied. I would recommend this piccolo to anyone who is not needing a super-high-end piccolo.Also, international shipping was faster than predicted.

My daughter needed a piccolo to march with while her nice one is being repaired. This piccolo is what you would expect from a $100 piccolo. At first we didn't think it would be ok but once she's gotten used to it, it's been fine. I wouldn't recommend this piccolo if you're looking for a high quality instrument, but it serves its purpose as a back up, marching instrument. She has already lost the crown though, because it didn't have a tight fit. She's only been using it for a month, but it fell off (not the first time) and she didn't notice until she was at a point where she couldn't find it. I also wouldn't recommend it for beginner piccolo players. My daughter said it was much harder to play that her nice piccolo.
