every once in a while you will find one without the yellow trap. I LOVE these so much that I don't care. They do not lessen the flavor at all. I can visually see the tar that my lungs have been spared. They are not obnoxious and diva-like and are practically invisible. I found them at a small grocery store and decided to give them a try., Buying them that way was pricier and often unavailable so I looked on Amazon. Kudos to this product for effectiveness and price. I'll work out how to quit hopefully someday but in the meantime My lungs and I thank this company for the product.

UPDATE: May 2022. I really like the carry package that came with these. Experience taught me to put a mark on the side where the filters are nested in. Otherwise, there isn't anything to tell you which side to open it on. I no longer have to try to figure out where to keep one filter when I'm out and about. Quite a lot fit into the carry pack so I don't run out. These filters have gotten better. I can use them for a long time and still am getting the effects of a full smoke. And the price went down a couple of bucks. Who doesn't like that? UPDATE: Here it is 2021 and I bought these in 2019. I still have a couple of months filters left. They don't degrade as long as I keep them in the bag they came in. I smoke around a pack and a half a day. So they are a great value. I bought these filters again because I like the fact we can fit them onto our roll your own cigarettes. I did find another brand that gives me a better draw and doesn't have a plastic taste to it, at first, but that brand isn't as easy to put onto RYO cigarette filters. You get used to the taste pretty quick. I also like the fact they draw out a lot of tar and nicotine. We can, actually, breathe better now. I also don't run out of breath like I used to, and I got a lot of junk out of my lungs from using these. These filters only have four holes, wherein, the other brand has five. Cut-Nic, at this price, is a great bargain.

It's a good product, or at least it's good for the ones that actually work properly. The issue is, a lot of the filters (maybe 1/4th) are hard to smoke with due to being very obtrusive to the smoke passing through. Maybe its the rubber inserts that are on too tight, or the plastic that didn't form right..but whatever it is, some of the filters become almost unusable. But at least you get 300 filters, so you still have a lot that actually works. Getting rid of every faulty unit might be difficult during manufacturing, so maybe they should include more tips for the price, or lower the price a bit to adjust for the faulty ones.

I will never smoke another cigarette without these again!!! The ones with 4 holes are better than the ones with 5,6, or 8 holes because they get more tar out of the cig with the 4 hole. It does not affect the taste whatsoever or the nicotine. It also is not hard to suck or anything like that. In fact smoking tastes better with them. It's probably only a mental thing though because seeing all the tar it's getting that would otherwise be in my lungs if I wasn't using the filter, is super empowering. You won't regret using these.

I originally started using these to keep my fingers from yellowing, and they really work for that purpose. They have the added bonus of seriously cutting down on my smoker's cough. If I go a day without using them I notice a significant difference. When I use them for each cigarette I do not even have a smoker's cough anymore! I was worried I'd smoke more because of the nicotine & tar they remove but I really have managed to cut down since I started using them. This is my second order & I've also gotten 2 friends hooked on them. The price is excellent - I paid $5 for just 30 of them at a smoke shop, before I found them on Amazon. When I smoke the hand-rolled cigarettes (all natural) that a friend makes for me, I can use 1 filter for 3-5 cigarettes. If I buy a pack of Pall Mall White 100s I can only use a filter for 2 cigarettes. That's not the fault of the filter, just how much more tar is in the PMs. You do not have to draw any harder when using these. You'll know it's time to switch filters when you DO have to draw harder. Obviously, I'm very pleased with this product :)

I bought this bag couple years ago when I was smoking regular cigarettes but I didn’t like the draw so I stopped using it. A month or so ago I found these in my closet and thought I tried it again as I now smoke menthol. I loved them. With menthol the draw didn’t affected the experience, my teeth were whiter, they didn’t feel fuzzy half way through the day, my tongue was no longer turning white by mid day, breath smelled better, these were awesome. I ordered another bag as I ran out of the old ones and the new ones hardly pull any tar from the cigarette so I no longer notice any of those positive affects. I don’t know if they changed the design to make the draw easier, but these are useless.

Been trying to look for new filters for my ciggs. I smoke American Spirit orange (one of the lightest) I really like the tar guard brand the best still. Only reason I decided to try these are the price was more then half for more. Last was Tar Guard has been having BAD quality control issues lately. Last 2 packs I have bought almost 1/3 we're bad. Either they had a bad seam (where top part of unit is) if it's not air tight then how can I smoke. They also been breaking for no reason. I take one out and sometimes it just falls apart. (In same place top seam) So I tried these price was right, they looked different design but cheaper. As long as design works I don't care if it looks different. Pros: Cheap, more (then tar guard) and they do work per say. Quality control was perfect (not one bad one yet) still have 50 left. Cons: last half as long as tar guard. (Makes since) smoking with these are not as " Satisfying" sounds wired I know. I noticed I was smoking more with these compared to tar guards. I think it's just because for me the bigger "smoke chamber" tar guard makes it more Satisfying. Other thoughts: would I buy them again? Maybe but I ordered the tar guard again. So far looks better but we will see. These do work and do their job. These would only be my backup brand but not primary one.

El de 4 huecos yo siempre los compré con este vendedor, pero no los han vuelto a sacar y es el que menos nicotina deja pasar. Ojala el vendedor lea mi mensaje y vuelva a sacar este de 4 huecos. Si los recomiendo encarecidamente. Súper bueno. Y comprándolos en cantidades más grandes resultan más económicos.
