Worth Every Cent
Purchased the Miniature 00 in the series, as that is the size brush I use for my Warhammer/D&D minis when getting into fine details and highlighting. For some context, I have been using Ghost synthetic brushes since I started, and their 00 brushes last a month or so with diligent cleaning before they start to curl, then fray into a lovely perm styling.Admittedly, I've only used this brush for one session, so I will update the review if the longevity is substandard, but this brush was glorious straight out of the tube. It keeps a very awesome point, cleans super well in the water cup, and with just a little bit of brush cleaner at the end of the session, it's looking good as new!I did see a review on this brush stating that it doesn't hold much paint. That's kind of the point, honestly. Something this small should be used for those fine details that need a very delicate touch, like rivets or eye lenses on Space Marine figures. If you need more paint in the brush, go for a 0 with a bit bigger belly, and you will be all set.Overall, I took the chance on all the YouTube videos and reddit posts I've seen on this brand brush and just jumped in. and I am not disappointed. Will keep one of these in the toolkit from here on.

It's hard to beat a W&N Series 7!
I use these for miniature acrylic painting and they are great. Nice body, with a fine tip.

Overhyped not good for DnD or Warhammer figures.
Like all sable brushes some come with a stray hair, mine did this and I simply removed it thanks to it being on the edge. The brush itself keeps basically no paint on it. A space marine shoulder pad outline would be more paint than this brush holds. Do not get the miniature version get the regular version as they are night and day.

I have purchased sable brushes from brands like Da Vinci
Long regarded as the top watercolor brush available, the Winsor & Newton Series 7 definitely lives up to the hype.I have purchased sable brushes from brands like Da Vinci, Escoda, and other value brush makers, and these are significantly better in a variety of ways. The handle is light and sturdy, and the brush retains the tightness of its point long after multiple uses. Longevity is key when paying extra for high-end art supplies, and these brushes just hold up better than others.Though specifically designed for water color, I have found them just as employable as fine detail brushes for oil work. An excellent value for the smaller point brushes.

Know what you got before you use it!
This one was in perfect condition...the previous shipment was like someone opened it up and messed up the bristles...It will do nicely for painting those finer points on a mini like the eyes!Always check the bristles when you spend a lot for a brush! Make sure they are like they should be, holding a fine point! Otherwise it’s a waste of money

It's a good quality brush.
I've ordered this brush before, feels really good in the hand and transfers paint well from my pallet to my model.

No where near as good as I expected
It's an okay brush, not sure if this is a genuine Series 7 as the tip does not hold a fine point so trying to paint fine lines and detail is difficult. Not what I expected at all after reading the reviews. I ordered 4 different sizes all together, and all the 4 brushes have the same issue with the tip. The size 000 and 00 are slightly better than my Citadel brushes, but that may just be because they are smaller. Conclusion - maybe I got unlucky, but I expected a lot better.
