There's a trick to making the top stay on
The first couple dozen times I put on the top, it always popped off, sometimes in a few seconds, sometimes over an hour or so. One side would slowly lift up until the top was basically just sitting skewed on top of the canister. The video shows how to “screw in” the top, but that didn't help until I figured out what is going on.The silicon gasket-like thing in the top allows for a certain amount of play in how the top is centered. If it is off-center, that creates a weaker and strong side, and the weak side always pops up, breaking the seal. So what you need to do while “screwing it in” is to make sure that the top is centered as precisely as possible. You can do this both by feel and by visual inspection. If the top is well-centered and worked in fully, then it seems to be staying in place indefinitely. If this continues, then I'll be happy with the container. If not, I'll be back to modify this review and to reduce the stars to 1. (And probably to return the item.)Otherwise, it is a good container for my purposes and I'm pleased with it. The only problem has been the difficulty with keeping the top to stay on.

“Sealed” one doesn’t ever “seal”
I got the “air tight” “sealed” one. Day 1 out of the box it didn’t ever “seal” which is kind of frustrating considering I wanted a sugar container with a spoon and then saw the one that “sealed” and considered that one to be better for keeping pests disinterested in it. And it’s a few extra bucks to get the one that fully “seals”. I always come into the kitchen to find the lid half way popped up. Just annoying and not to mention it looks silly now. Would love to return but I tossed the packaging on recycling day because I was so excited for it. Reeeeeally would recommend keeping the packaging so you can return it.

works great but is not white
I use this container to hold sugar and I like it a lot. My one concern: I used a 3x5 notecard to reference the size and color of the dish. The dish is NOT white as shown in the photos - is it off-white and that's the only reason I gave it four out of five stars. It's easy to grab the spoon and it holds a good amount of sugar. I was a bit surprised at how small or flimsy the screws appear but I haven't had any issues. I think when I bought it, I assumed the wood lid reached the sides of the dish where it connects, so maybe that is why it was surprising. The lid opens and closes easily and it will stay open without holding it, as it does rest on the back of the dish. Overall I recommend this product as long as you understand that the color is off-white.

Coffee Creamer and Sugar Holder for us
I told my wife it was time to get rid of the plastic bowls and for us to become grown-ups with these. We are both in our 50s, so I guess it was time. These are great! The spoons are small, but they work out great for us.

Airtight to keep out the invading ants
We are having a problem with ants this summer, so when my husband broke the lid of his old sugar bowl, I decided to replace it with one with a tight lid. I’m hoping this will do the trick. It’s attractive and fits in with the other canisters on the counter. It holds plenty of sugar. It came well packaged in styrofoam, which was a good thing, since the box was crushed.

eh. is okay
i purchased this to hold my sugar for morning coffee. I bought it because of the rubber seal. Once received, I noticed that the rubber seal actually pushed the lid up out of the ceramic part so it was not a sealed container. I purchased a different product to replace this one.

Adorable
A very nice little sugar bowl. My Littles picked this out after breaking the lid on their sugar bowl. I like that the lid is ATTACHED. It’s cute, compact, and fits a variety of decors.

Overall wonderful; just one flaw.
We really like the sugar container. It fits nicely on our counter and it’s easy to use. The only flaw has been the sugar turning into hard clumps since it’s exposed to a little bit of air where the hole is for the teaspoon. We have to break up the sugar clumps everyday, so we can use it.
