Better quality than the original
Lost the tip-off the spade bit when using the original that came with the Rigid auger. Screw came loose even though I tightened it as much as possible prior to use. Screw in replacement set was Allen key rather than flat head. I was able to tighten much better than the original.

Well designed, competitive, ingenious but Rigid should re-design one part.
From the motor case Rigid has a tube that slips on to keep user from having to touch the router and this is a great addition but that protector pretty much has to be made so that it does not slip off. I believe other reviews has so stated. Eventually they may do an alteration of this tube so that it attaches and stays attached until user wants it off.

Not durable
I bought this set of bits for my ridgid drain cleaning machine (which is awesome, BTW, and well worth the money if you live on a septic system) rather than off-brand bits hoping it would be more durable. The bit that came with the machine lasted 3 years. This replacement (the spiral one) lasted ONE time before bending badly and becoming unuseable. I bought a no-name brand for a fraction of the price. I can't see how it will be worse than one use.

I own a machine with the bigger diameter cable for unclogging 3 and 4 inch lines, but I got a clog myy kitchen sink. SO I bought the smaller cable and this set of tips. That turned through all the 90 degree corner in 2.5 inch PVC pipe and unclogged it 35 Feet down the drain.
